About the home

This two bedroom and two bathroom apartment has everything to make your stay a memorable one. You will enjoy al fresco dining on the fantastic wrap around terrace, where you can enjoy the sunshine throughout the day. You will also enjoy excellent views of the pools, gardens and Guadiana Bridge. There is an en suite bathroom for the master bedroom and a shower room for the second bedroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped including the all important cork screw!
You can relax in the fully furnished lounge/dining room which has coffee table, television, dvd player, radio, CDs, sideboard, dining table and chairs.
The swimming pool is ideal for adults and children and there is also a toddler pool
You will love the views of the pool and surrounding gardens from the terrace and if the children want a swim with their friends you can see them at all times while you have a glass of wine, so you can relax!
The apartment enjoys a quiet and peaceful location, yet only 10 minutes from Ayamonte town in rental car.
It is positioned next to our other apartment Vista Esuri A which also accommodates 4 people. So for larger groups this is ideal as you will be staying next to one another.
It is located close to several first class golf courses with two championship courses that can be played on the Costa Esuri complex.
The apartment is ideally positioned for families and golfers alike. You could not base yourself in a better spot within the resort.
The new bistro and bar 'Jags' is only a ten minute walk away, so leave the car , relax and have a few drinks and chill out.

Just come back from holiday at the apartment and had a fantastic time. Forget Staycation come and enjoy the weather and ambience of Southern Spain.

The Costa de la Luz region

The region enjoys cooling breezes from the Atlantic which are most welcome in the height of summer. The weather is mild in the winter and hot through the summer months.
Some of the best beaches in Spain are to be found along this coast, including Isla Canela, which is a short drive away. Cosmopolitan Seville is very much worth a visit with its rich cultural heritage. The Parque Nacional de Donana is ranked among Europe's greatest wetlands and home to deer, eagles, flamingos and Lynx, which is one of Europe's rarest mammals.
For food lovers you will not be disappointed. The area is famous for its hams and seafood, with plenty of restaurants and bars serving the regions delicacies.
This is where the Spanish come for their holidays and in many ways it is the 'real' Spain. There are no 'kiss me quick' hats to be found. For a proper Spanish holiday experience it is very hard to beat.
The Costa de la luz is Spains most Southwesterly coast, the ' Coast of Light ' with 300 days of sunshine.
There are numerous local fiestas throughout the year in the Huelva Province and Ayamonte.

The Ayamonte / Costa Esuri area

The apartment is in a fantastic location. For Golfers you have the Costa Esuri Golf Club two minutes drive from the apartment. As a fellow golfer you will love this area. A short drive will give you the opportunity of playing several top class courses in both Spain and Portugal, which are less crowded and fantastic value for money. How unique to play golf in two countries on the same day!. We have great contacts locally who can arrange green fees at reduced prices for your party.
The town of Ayamonte is only ten minutes drive away with its excellent bars and restaurants. Have a wander into Laguna Square, take a beer and watch the world go by.
There are superb water parks that the family will enjoy back in Portugal. There is also a smaller water park and Go Karting track at Cartaya, close to El Rompido Golf Club.
The stunning beaches at Isla Canela are only 15 minutes drive away

Monte Rei Golf Club

Jack Nicklaus designed course and before you go the great golf course in the sky treat yourself to a round here.
If you love the game of golf the Monte Rei experience awaits.
I have played golf all over Europe and this is top drawer golf. Possibly rated as one of the top ten golf courses in Europe. My advice for full enjoyment on this course is to have a handicap of 18 and below.


El Rompido

My favourite golf course in the area. It really is tremendous holiday golf and all golfers will enjoy the challenge. Watch those greens, they are quick and you could be three putting a few of them!
Take time out after the game and enjoy a cool beer or chilled wine on the terrace afterwards.

Castro Marim

Back over the bridge into Portugal only 15 minutes from the apartment. Excellent golf course with club house to match. The views as you tee off on some of the holes are tremendous. Chill out afterwards on the balcony overlooking the 18th . If you fancy a bite to eat afterwards try the Mars Bar restaurant only about 10 minutes away. I swear they serve the best ribs I have ever eaten. You will not be hungry afterwards!

Costa Esuri Golf Course

The first course is now complete and naturally will need several months to bed in and mature. The greens are excellent and your iron play will have to be sharp.
The second course is now complete and is an excellent compliment to the first course. The new clubhouse is finished so you can now enjoy a drink or two on the veranda overlooking the practice area.

Quinta do Vale

Just over the bridge into Portugal, very close to Castro Marim Golf club. Seve Ballesteros designed this course and it is always in great condition. Will suit all levels of players. Stunning views of course from terrace at the club house.

La Monacilla

Located in Aljaraque about 35 minutes drive from Costa Esuri. Really good holiday golf with excellent greens.
I played the course recently and was very impressed.

Tips For Golfers
In my opinion a buggy is the best way to get around these Golf Courses. They have more space than in the UK and greater distances to the next tee. Save your legs for a few drinks around Laguna Square in the evening!

The courses here are hidden gems and a fraction of the cost for green fees compared to other parts of Spain and Portugal.

I have just returned from a long weekend playing golf. Courses are in top condition. Treat yourself this summer and get away from the indifferent weather in the UK.

Ayamonte and Costa Esuri are easily reached from Faro and Seville airports.
Budget airlines fly to both Seville ( 2 hours drive away ) and Faro ( 40 mins drive away )
I would recommend booking car hire at the same time of booking flights. The airlines have good deals with the car rental companies
We can arrange transfers if required

If you go on Easyjet and Monarch web sites you can get some very good flight deals at the moment down to Faro
