This 3 bedroom apartment has been fully furnished to give you the comfort that you deserve on your holiday.
Tastefully decorated and fitted throughout. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Living Room, Kitchen & Laundry.
Sun worshippers will enjoy direct access to the swimming pools and the magnificent 7km beach for tranquil relaxation. Well appointed in position and facilities, you will not know whether to stay in and cook and savour the glorious sunsets from the two balconies, or to go out to explore the abundance of local restaurants on offer.

Local Shops & Restaurants
Can be found close by in Isla Canela Beach, the Marina, the fishing village and Ayamonte town. Savour an incredible variety of foods ranging from traditional Spanish Tapas & Seafood to Italian, Chinese, Australian, and Portugese (to name but a few).

Activities
The more active will find many sports to participate in. Golf, tennis, bowls, fishing and many more. The island is kid friendly with plenty to do close by. Swimming Pools and a play area within the grounds plus direct beach access. Bike hire, crazy golf and a fun park are all nearby. The island is also a 'walkers paradise' where you can follow the beach and rivers around the island or explore the marshland and nature reserves. Day trips can be made in both directions, Seville to the east and Portugal to the west. Any guest staying at this apartment will have the choice to do 'as much or 'as little' as they want.

The apartment has been tastefully furnished throughout. Positioned on the first floor with secure parking directly below accessed via lift or stairs. Because of it's splendid position on the corner of the block, the apartment is very light and airy throughout with views from every room but 1. The lounge is furnished with 2 leather couch's coffee tables TV DVD & HIFI. Patio doors lead to balonies on both corners. Balcony 1 overlooks the pools & beach. Balcony 2 offers sensational views of the beach and sea. The main bedroom features a double bed & en suite bathroom. The 2 other bedrooms both have 2 single beds. There is also a pull out single mattress available to sleep 7 if required. There is a separate Bathroom & shower. The kitchen and laundry are both fully fitted with everything you will need. All linen & towels are supplied.

Further details outdoors:
Within the grounds of Los Albatros Apartments are 2 shared swimming pools & landscaped gardens featuring a cascading water fountain. There is a children's play area and 2 paddle tennis courts which can be used FOC. The beach is accessed directly to the side of the main pool. There is secure parking for 1 car.

Further details

£150 deposit to secure the booking. This will then act as a security deposit which will be returned once the keys have been returned and apartment has been checked (and found to be ok). The balance of payment must have been made at least 8 weeks before arrival.

The Costa de la Luz region

The Costa de la Luz is the southern tip of mainland Europe, and offers a slightly cooler climate thanks to the Atlantic breezes. The beaches here are quieter, and wider than those further north up the coast. This area is split in two by the marismas which form the Doana wildlife reserve, the home of wild cattle, eagles, deer and lynxes.

The Ayamonte / Isla Canela area

Isla Canela is a natural island linked by a bridge to the traditional Spanish town of Ayamonte. Situated in the South West corner of Andalucia on the mouth of the River Guardiana which is the natural border to Portugal from Spain. This coast is known as the Costa de la Luz which translates as "The Coast of Light" due to its long bright summer days & beautiful sunsets. Miles of long unspoiled sandy beaches. Still very Spanish, the local industries are fishing & farming. Ayamonte town remains traditionally Spanish & holds many festivals throughout the year. There are many good restaurants & tapas bars offering exceptional quality & value at Isla Canela, the Marina, the Fishing Village & Ayamonte town. Or take a short drive across the bridge or ferry ride across the river to Villa Real for fine Portugese dining.

Local Sports:
Golfers are spoilt for choice with exceptional courses just a short drive away in both Spain & Portugal. The closest being Isla Canela 5 minutes away. Within 30 mins drive golfers can experience courses such as Castro Marim, El Rompido, Islantilla, Quinta de Ria, Quinta De Cima, Quinta do Vale & the Magnificient Monte Rei (Simply Sentational). There are 2 paddle tennis courts FOC within the grounds. Tennis courts, Bowls, Fishing & much more are all available nearby.

For the kids:
Isla Canela itself has plenty to keep the kids busy. Beach, Pool & play area at the apartment. Bike hire, crazy golf & mini fun park with trampolines are all available locally.
Aquopolis Water Park at Cartaya near Lepe is a great day out with a superb go karting track next door (approx. 25 mins drive)-(www.aquopolis.es). A little nearer (approx. 20 minutes) is the Crocodile Park www.crocodilepark.org (Terra Exotica) at Isla Cristina - a reptile breeding farm and sanctuary. Europe´s largest collection of Crocodiles, aquatic turtles, landtortoises, snakes and lizards.
Other attractions include zoo marine; a water/marine park just over the border in Portugal (www.zoomarine.com). Other water parks over the border within easy reach include Aqualand (www.aqualand.pt) and slide & splash (www.slidesplash.com).
On a larger scale with more choice of rides why not try isla magica at Seville (www.islamagica.es) for a fun packed day.

40 mins drive from Faro (Portugal) or 75 mins drive from Seville (Spain). We can arrange taxi's if required.

Directions from Faro:
1. Leave airport & go straight across island (with statues on) onto main dual carriageway. Stay on this road (heading north towards the mountains) until the very end when it bends sharp right and stops at a T Junction. 2. Turn right at the T junction on the "N2" towards "S Bras". Stay on this (towards mountains) until you meet the "A22" at junction 14 (Signposted Espania right).
3. Turn right on "A22" and keep on this road until you cross the Guadiana bridge which is the border between Portugal and Spain.
4. Turn first right immediately after the bridge signposted Ayamonte
5. Keep following main road straight across 4 islands. At the 5th island turn right.
6. Next island (at petrol station) turn left and cross river.
7. Left at next island then keep going straight on until you cross the bridge from Ayamonte to Isla Canela.
8. Straight across the next islands keeping the golf course on your left.
9. At the end of the golf course turn right at the next island (Signposted Playa Canela)
10. Straight on along Avienda de Playa until you reach apartments on your left. Turn first left.
11. Keep going with the sea on your right hand side. Just before you reach the next island, Los Albatros apartments are on your right hand side.
12. Go through the gates and underneath into car park space no. 81 (end of carpark).
13. Go up onto the first floor and turn left into corridor to Apartment 156
