"Wonderful!"

Loved this one bed cottage as soon as we set foot in it. Even my husband said " It's lovely!". Praise indeed from him!

It is compact but there is everything you would need for a base for visiting the Jurassic coast. Very modern build and decor, finished to a very high standard indeed. Ample room for two guests to chill out in the living room and kitchen area. Bathroom was spacious, clean and had everything you need. The bedroom had a full size built in wardrobe, however the bed mattress was a tad hard for us. Also for those with restricted mobility, getting around to the far side of the bed might be an issue due to the size of the room. Saying that, if that is not a problem, then the space in the bedroom is acceptable.

The cottage was exceptionally clean and well appointed in the owners garden. One downside was the noise of the traffic on the busy main A road outside. However, this was only noticed when sitting outside the cottage and occasionally inside the cottage when a particularly large lorry went past.

The cottage is brilliantly located for the Jurassic coast and the River Cottage Canteen is located about 15 mins away. A few minutes walk away (one across the road - well worth a visit) were places to eat. When we stayed, the Jubilee week, the weather was dreadful but we still had a fab time which just goes to show how nice this place is.

Owners were friendly and helpful. This is a little gem of a place and a great hideaway. Once people get to know about it, it will be booked solid. Glad we got there 1st!
