Culverwells is set in a quiet and tranquil rural village of Dalwood in East Devon, which is popular with walkers, with a variety of rambles possible from your own door. The property has been decorated and furnished in keeping its charming country style whilst also benefiting from a large modern kitchen and bathrooms. The wonderful sun room has two walls of bi-fold doors which allow you to enjoy the spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. The Tucker's Arms in the village is a beautiful thatched old English pub with a cosy interior which serves fine ales and good food with a warm atmosphere. Culverwells is perfectly located for exploring the wonderful Jurassic coast with the popular seaside resorts of Lyme Regis - perfect for fossil hunting, Beer, Seaton and Sidmouth just a short drive away. Guests interested in indulging in local produce will find an abundance in the area, the acclaimed Lyme Bay Winery is a short drive away and farms throughout the area provide cheese and meat, whilst the proximity to the coast ensures fresh seafood.

Accommodation: Large porch leading to front door. Utility area with washing machine, tumble dryer and storage. Downstairs shower room with hand basin and toilet. Door to: Large luxurious kitchen with double butler sink and large electric range master cooker, American style fridge/freezer. Under floor flagstone heating. Step up to garden dining room, bi-fold doors across two whole walls, with magnificent views over the garden and countryside. Cosy family lounge with inglenook fireplace. Cottage style stairs to first floor: Narrow hallway leading to Bedroom 1, twin single beds (unique wooden beds which are pushed together). Bedroom 2, king-size double bed (with memory foam mattress). Family bathroom, Jacuzzi bath, hand basin, toilet and separate shower. Bedroom 3, 2' 6" twin single beds or pushed together to make a king size double (although as a double access will be from one side of the bed - please specify on booking which you prefer). Bedroom 4, child's bunk beds (5'5" length).

Culverwells welcomes 2 well behaved dogs. Off road parking for four cars. Bed linen and towels are included; please detail your requirements when booking.

The owners of Culverwells require a £200 refundable damage deposit from guests on booking. Subject to a satisfactory check-out after your departure this will be refunded within 10 days. The arrival time for Culverwells is 4pm.

Short breaks at Culverwells may be possible with prior agreement from the owner.
