Our beautiful painted Medicine Tipee (Tepee) courtesy of Majestic Canvas is situated on Acacia farm Camp site close to the Somerset Levels Cheddar Gorge and Burnham on Sea.

Decorated interior with rugs and throws dream catchers and fairy lights giving a cosy snug feel.

Four futons and a chest and small low tables complete the North American themed look.

We have a new indoor area where you can cook wash up and sit and eat your meal inside if weather is not behaving.

Our Tipee situated on our semi rural camp site called Acacia Farm in Somerset "The Land of the Summer people" in Rooks bridge 10 minutes form the M5 Junction 22.

Whether you are a family or group of friends come and experience the outdoors and stay in our authentic Tipee.

Your experience a back to basics lifestyle but thrown in as we do live in England with our unpredictable weather 20th century luxuries such as electricity.

Although a Glamping experience this is a canvas dwelling and we would like to remind travellers to bring warm clothing as the evening temperature can drop.

Fires are allowed outside the tent but there is no heating inside.

The Somerset region

We are well located for exploring the whole of Somerset the beauty of our site is the location and if your interests are the beach and coast towns Weston Super Mare & Burnham or Brean are close by ,however if its nature your looking for we are on the Somerset levels so we have wildlife in abundance.

Westhay Moor Nature Reserve is nearby where the starlings show off their aerial displays in Autumn time.

On site we have seen wildlife too a little owl buzzards woodpeckers song thrushes Robins wrens and plenty others have been spotted including badgers foxes and deer.

A walkers paradise with Brent knoll Crooks Peak the Mendip way Cheddar Gorge all can be seen virtually from the sight.

Plenty of good fishing a short drive away and the beauty of the levels is the they are flat so easy cycling and The Strawberry Line is great for all levels of cycling including families.

Other famous sites are King Johns Hunting lodge at Axbridge quaint Medieval Town,The caves at Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves near Wells Wells Cathedral and Bishops Palace and the oldest street in Europe to be seen.

Follow the Ley lines to Glastonbury and enjoy the King Arthur legends and the Abbey and Tor.

Slightly further is Bristol the Brunel Experience SS Great Britain Clifton Suspension Bridge and the historic harbourside.& The Sherry.

Bath the Georgian Town Roman Baths The Royal Crescent Bath Rugby & shops.

Street Clarke's Village Designer shops.

Traditional seasides towns of Burnham on Sea and Weston Super Mare.

Axbridge

Situated on the levels Somerset is known as......" The Land of the Summer People".

Another thing Somerset is known for is its cider there are plenty of cider farms to visit and taste the Zummerset Scrumpy!!

Weston super Mare Burnham on Sea Cheddar Gorge Wells Glastonbury all easily located within a 10-20 min drive.

Good for cyclists as flat so easy to travel around without too many hills.

Good for climbers Cheddar Gorge is a good example and the Mendip Hills.

Nearby beaches too.

Days out Exploring Caves Cheddar and Wookey Hole.

Whether you are the active type or the non active there is something for all to do.

Within walking distance of Campsite

The Rooks bridge Post office and stores.

Millwhite's Farm Cider.

The Ploughman's Farm Shop

The nearest supermarket is a short drive away in Burnham.approx 6 miles.
