About the home

A ski apartment from December till April, when the snow melts it is transformed into an activity destination that caters for every sort of outdoor activity. Sleeps 4 comfortably and ideal for self catering or a 'comfortable lounge'
UK TV channels , wifi and kids games and full length bath / tower shower. Washing and drying facilities. right in the centre of the resort it is ideal for all the resorts facilities especially supermarket and restaurants/bars

Well equipped studio apartment with balcony ;set of bunk beds and double sofa bed.;Ikea mini kitchen;Cable TV and wifi. In the bathroom there is a full length bath, a Triton tower showere as well as a washing machine/dryer

Further details outdoors:
From the front door of the apartment block you ski out down to the first run of the day. Alternatively you can 'shuffle' the 50 yards to the 'village des enfants' and the beginners drag lift to the various ski schools.

The apartment overlooks the 'Via Ferrata' and the valley towards the Swiss border which is a 10 minute ski away from over the famous 'Swiss Wall'. The resort is becoming increasing popular with boarders and now hosts the famous 'STASH' ski park.

A comprehensive supermarket is just 20 yards away from the front door as are a selection of bars.

Avoriaz is in the heart of the Portes Du Soliel - 650kms of sking and boarding for all levels of ability. It is set at 1800 meters so has lots of snow when other resorts lower down in the valley are 'green'. It has the distict advantage of being able to ski from the front door without having to lug skis and boots about

“Fantastic place to stay- Centre Parcs in the Alps” This is an excellent place to stay to explore the alps in the Spring and Summer as well as Winter. It is truly breathtaking. The accomodation is accessible and finished to a high standard with everything you need. If you have children there are plenty of DVDs to go at and if you miss Corrie you can even get that too. However with the lovely long walks and beautiful scenery who wants to stay in!! You can work up a healthy appetite and eat in some fantastic restaurants which are right on your door step.

“skiing on your doorstep” skied in avoriaz 4 times in last 5 years and going again this year.The appartment is well located in town centre with everything on your doorstep.It sleeps 4 people comfortably and has everything you need while you are there,the resort is one of the best ski area's i have skied in with something for everyone.Would recommend the appartment and resort to anyone.

“Excellent Location and Flexible check in.” Very good location in the centre of village, ski to the door. Although the apartment is compact it has everything you need. Will be staying again.

Perfect location in central Avoriaz and good size for a studio (compared to others in the town), good information before and during stay, easy to reach staff/owner if requested and generally a great flat to stay in for 2-4 people. Thank you and we really hope to be back next year!!

What a fabulous holiday we have just had at snow 401 in Avoriaz. The apartment was just the job for our family on our first skiing holiday. The location made getting to skischool as stress free as is possible .It had everything and more that we needed including lashings of hot water !Avoriaz is a beautiful place and the snow and weather were just perfect. We cant wait to return.

This is a great property which makes a great base for families, groups and couples alike. It's central location means easy access to all Avoriaz amenities, the supermarket great restaurants and children's ski school are on on the apartment's doorstep. It is well equipped, warm and comfortable and has a lovely view out onto the mountainside. I really enjoyed my stay!
