About the home

This luxury rental apartment has been beautifully restored and fully furnished, maintaining its historic character with ancient beams and stonework. It is available for rent for short term holiday lets, directly from the owner.

Accommodation is set on 2 levels and has a total living area of 1000 sq.feet divided into 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room/dining room with an open plan kitchen.

The master bedroom has a shower room en suite. The other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom that has a bath with shower attachment.

Further details outdoors:
A public underground car park situated 100 yds from the apartment is very convenient, avoiding having to drive through very narrow city streets. This costs 10 euros per day.

Conditions

A 15% Deposit is payable at booking time (this counts towards the full cost, but is not refundable in case of cancellation).

The remaining 85% is payable 3 weeks before arrival and the 450 Euro security deposit is payable to our agent in Avignon on collection of the keys.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Vaucluse region

Capital of Côtes du Rhône wines and provençal gastronomy, eating and drinking is always a pleasure throughout the region.

The countryside is packed with top quality vineyards, with tasting and purchase possible. The famous Chateau-Neuf du Pape is 10 minutes drive away.

There is plenty of interesting shopping both modern and antique. Many nearby towns have antique and other markets on different days.

The Avignon / Avignon Historic City Centre area

Avignon is a city of culture, in the heart of beautiful Provence.

When Pope Clement V took up residence in 1309, the city became the centre of the Christian world for 100 years with buildings and art to match. These are now listed as 'Unesco World Heritage Sites'.

Avignon is central to Provence and has many varied top-quality restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

The theatre festival in July with more than 600 performances attracts enthusiasts worldwide. Year round there is opera, ballet and orchestral music.

Grand Avignon Golf (10 mins by car) is an 18 hole par 72 golf course set in 150 acres.

Further afield, Paris is only 2 hours 40 mins by train and Marseille and the coast are only 35 mins.

The beauty of rural Provence, with 300 days of sunshine a year, is all around!

Mr. Allen,

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in Avignon. The
apartment is fabulous, as I am sure you know! What a location! Philippe was
charming and all the arrangements for meeting him worked out fine.

We toured all around and had glorious weather for the Pont du Gard. I had
been in the area the previous week, when the mistral was blowing, so we
enjoyed the fine weather for our week in Avignon.

Thank you again for making the arrangements so easy.

Believe it or not, it is snowing here in Maine at the moment!
