Cycle directly from the house on cycle paths to explore the national park or walk straight into the Craigellachie National Nature reserve. Cairngorm Mountain 15 minutes drive away for skiing . Loch Morlich and Loch Inch watersports 10 minutes away. 7 golf courses within 10 minutes of the house including championship Spey Valley and one of the UK's 50 hidden gem courses at Boat of Garten.

Bus stop for ski area is 5 minutes walk.ROTHIEMURCHUS HIGHLAND EASTATE: - A privatly run estate which provides an outstanding nature experience, and only a 5 minute drive from the house! On the estate there are also activities such as clay pigeon shooting and The TreeZone, a high-level adventure course and fishing.

QUAD BIKES & 4X4: – Quad biking and 4×4 off road driving. 10 minute drive

LANDMARK FOREST PARK: – Landmark Forest Park is situated in the neighbouring village of Carrbridge, a 15 minute drive from the house. Landmark is a fantastic excursion with activities and adventure for the whole family.

CAIRNGORM MOUNTAIN RANGE: – Scotlands premier ski area. Skiing during the winter, walking during the summer and sightseeing all-year-round. 15 minute drive.

HIGHLAND WILDLIFE PARK: – Visit a wide range of animals with the beautiful natural surroundings of Kincraig as a backdrop. Amur tiger, Arctic Fox, Bharal, Bukhara Deer, Carpathian Lynx, Chinese Goral, European Beaver, European Bison, Himalayan tahr, Polar Bear, Przewalski's Horse, Red Panda , Scottish Wildcat, Snow Monkey,Capercaillie, Eagle Owl, European Crane, Snowy Owl are to name but a few! 10 minute drive from the house.

HIGHLAND FOLK MUSEUM: – Take a trip back in time to highland life from the 1700's through until recent times. This award winning museum brings to life the domestic and working conditions of earlier Highland peoples. Newtonmore is a 20 minute drive from the house.

THE MOUNTAIN CAFE: – Enjoy antipodean style coffees, delicious breakfasts, superb lunches & fresh home baking together with an unbeatable view of the Cairngorms

"A great base for a family break. Well equipped, clean & comfertable."

We found our stay to be a very positive experience and stress free on every level.The house was immaculately clean when we arrived and we found a number of basic provisions in place to make our stay easier. The house was well equipped & of a good size for our needs (2 adults, 7yr old & 18mth toddler) and there was plenty room for another 2 people. The property is situated in a quiet cul de sac which offers privacy and is only a short walk from the town centre.The kids enjoyed the garden which is of a good size and safe from traffic. We found the house to be very comfortable and it was obvious to us that it is well maintained and cleaned to a high standard. Overall, the house was a great base for our weeks activities and we would have no hesitation in booking there again for our next Aviemore trip. Thanks for a very pleasant stay..!!

"Pleasant, clean, comfortable"

Comfortable stay, everything you need for a trip away.
Easy booking and great communications with the owner.
Everything was clean and tidy and simple things like tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were ready and waiting for you after a 6 hour drive. A nice touch.

"Ideal base for exploring aviemore"

Spacious bungalow, ideal quiet location a short walk from village centre. comfortable and clean. Easy to book with efficient correspondence. Will be back!

"Great base for Aviemore"

I stayed here for the weekend of the Aviemore half marathon with my boyfriend and friend and it was an excellent base. The cottage was clean, warm and welcoming, with everything easily arranged with the owners. Close to the centre of Aviemore and great for the race.

"A great property in a central location!"

Our family stayed here for 1 week. The property had everything we needed. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. Bedrooms were spacious and the 2 bathrooms were great as we have 2 kids. Safe enclosed garden for the kids to play in- on a quiet cul-de-sac. Very close to Aviemore centre (5 mins walk), central to most activities in the area. Super neighbours who made us feel very welcome! Would certainly recommend to other families with young children and will certainly be staying here again ourselves in the future.

"Great Place and good value for money"

Ideally situated in a nice quite cul d sac a few minutes walk from the centre of Aviemore - Handy for everything.
Very clean with everything we could need including 2 bathrooms.
Nice to sit in the garden and have a beer in the early evening.
We will stay again.

"Great house - perfect location :)"

Stayed here for four nights! Its in a great location, very clean house! Lots of hot water and very warm which is important! Perfect little place I think would highly recommend using it. Property manager also very helpful.

"A place to come back again."

It is a very nice and complete house in a quiet residential area. It could be your home.
The distance to public transport is also good. We had no car available, but we could easily go everywhere.
