It is located in a quiet area on the edge of a tree forestation to one side and open fields and farmland.
The lounge is upstairs giving a magnificent view of the Cairngorm mountains. The lounge has an open fire. and has large picture windows to get the benefit of the fantastivc views.
The property has two bathrooms one with bath and shower and the other with large walk in shower and steam room. The master bedroom is upstairs and has fantastic views. There are another two bedrooms on the second floor.
Downstairs is the large kitchen/dining and Tv sitting room. The kitchen is superbly equipped with all modern equipment.There are two further double rooms downstairs.
The garage is converted into a games room and has a pool table and a dart board. Antighur sits in a half acre garden and is surrounded by countryside and woodland.

The Highlands region
Antihgur is situated in the Highland region of Strathspey and around 20 minutes from Aviemore. The area is designated Scotlands first National Park. The whole area has outstanding beauty and an array of wildlife. Aviemore/Grantown on Spey and the surrounding areas are considered the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
Aviemore / Dulnain Bridge area
Dulnain Bridge is a small village about 2 miles from the house. It has a small store with post office. There are numerous villages within close proximity toANTIGHUR including Boat of Garten (home of the osprey site) Nethybridge, and the capital of the Strathspey area Grantown on Spey. All of the villages have pubs, restaurants and shops. The area abounds with golf courses.
Antighur is situated next to a tree forestation. The forest has numerous tracks for mountain biking or walking and is full of fantastic wildlife.
How to get there
Antighur is situated some 15 miles from Aviemore and 12 miles from Grantown on Spey the capital of the Highlands.
It is about 35 Miles from Inverness.
Flights are available to Inverness from many UK airports.
Aberdeen is just over an hour away.

The location is very peaceful and is ideal for a relaxing holiday either staying at the house or visiting the surrounding area. There is a steam room dowstairs which is idael after a days skiing or walking in the countryside. The lounge is on the second floor to afford views over the Cairngorm mountains.
The public rooms are well proportioned. There is a cozy open fire in the lounge. There are plentby of games for all the family and guests to enjoy.
Further details outdoors: The property has around a half acre plot with uninterupted views to the front over the river Spey (800 yards away) and to the village of Nethybridge and then to the Cairngorm mountains beyond.
Three sides of the property are to open farmland and the fourth is adjacent to the tree forest. There is access to the forest from a gate at the rear garden.

Antighur is a peaceful place and we have neighbours nearby and ask everyone to respect the peace and tranquility of the location.

There is an additional damage deposit of £200 paid in advance of the rental commencing. This is refunded provided that there has been no damge to the property.
The deposit at the time of booking is 20% or a minimum of £100. There is an additional charge at cost for electricity which depending on useage is around £20/35 per week.
