The Dell sits within three peaceful acres just on the edge of the Abernethy Forest, 20 mins from Aviemore.

The Georgian granite homestead has been converted into four self catering cottages and one large lodge.

Ideal for families with safe, secluded grounds and countless activities on the doorstep. Or a peaceful haven for those looking to switch off, walk in the woods and experience all that the Cairngorm National Park has to offer.

Little Dell is our newly renovated romantic retreat for 2 with wood burning stove, duck down duvets and a big hot bath.

It has an open plan living area with dining table and galley kitchen which leads round to a cosy double bedroom.

The bathroom has a shower over the bath and there is loads of piping hot water for those long holiday soaks in the bath.

Dogs are most welcome and Little Dell has an enclosed garden with a chimenea and garden chairs.

All our accommodation is heated by a wood pellet boiler which powers the central heating and hot water system.

Within the tall granny pine wood there is a stone fire pit for guests use

"Little Dell has a big character!"

This is the second time we've stayed in Little Dell - and it definitely won't be the last. We were up for new year and with the log fire roaring it really felt cozy - like our own little festive country retreat. Little Dell has loads of character and charm. It had everything we needed for the two of us to bunk up, cook up, relax and feel totally at home in great surroundings. We immediately felt miles away from the city. We'll be back soon.
