The Burgundy / Saone-et-Loire region
Very close to both the wine making regions of Beaune and Macon and to the west the famous Parc du Morvan, which is a vry large conservation area. The area has a lot of Brocantes and faites during the spring and summer months
Autun / Antully area
The local area is ideal for both walkers and cyclists with large flat earea's and woodlands close to the property. Autun has many festivals during the summermonths and does Le Creusot. Le Creusot also has a children's activity park. There are also a few well seved golfcourses closeby
How to get there
Good airlinks from either Geneva or Lyon Airports. Best airline for both destinations is Easyjet and are about 2.30hrs drive from either via good motorway links. There is also the TGV station at Le Creusot, approx 25mins drive from the property and a carhire company (Eurocar) has cars available at the station. Nearest Ferryport is Calais, Dunkirk or Boulogne. LD ferries,P+O or Sea France or Norfolk lines are the best ferries to use or Eurotunnel with direct links to Le Creusot. Pickup from Le Creusot can be arranged
