The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Bouches-du-Rhone region
Sporting activities It's a great location for touring and leisure; there is tennis in the village, a golf course just on the doorstep of the village, as are the cycling, walking and horse riding paths across the beautiful Alpilles which are practically on the doorstep
Beaches can be found on the Mediterranean coast which is about a 45-55 minute drive away, easily accessible for a morning or afternoon out
Sightseeing is endless. The property is situated in the heart of one of the best the Olive growing regions of Provence - a panorama of Olive Groves with stunning limestone scenery as the backdrop. There are then all the local towns; Avignon, Arles, Aix en Provence, the City of Marseille and the sleepy villages of the Luberon. You also have the vineyards of the Rhone not far away as well as the Carmargue National Park for some authentic nature - spoilt for choice and practically all of the attractions are well under an hour away!
Aureille area
Local shops can be found at Aureille (2km) or Mouries (3km). Aureille is fairly quiet with just one or two shops but Mouries is a village well serviced with bakers, butchers, grocers, bank and a post office as well as a weekly market, cafes, bars and restaurants.
Local markets are found in nearly all the local villages at least one day a week. There are also some great markets which are a little larger in St Remy de Provence, Arles and Cavaillon, all less than 30 minutes drive away. The nearest supermarket is about 7kms away in St Martin de Crau
How to get there
By Car - Mauries and Aureille are situated approximately 30 minutes drive south of Avignon, 15 minutes north of Salon-de-Provence and 20 minutes to the east of Arles
By Air - Avignon is the nearest airport but Marseille and Nimes Airports are also not too far away - approximately 50 minutes drive
By Train - The high speed TGV service runs directly from London or Paris to Avignon, approximately 25 minutes away

Further details indoors: There are 3 bedrooms and three bathrooms, one with a bath and two with walk-in Italienne style showers. There is also a good sized living space with an open-plan kitchen leading onto the dining area and a comfortable and well furnished living room.
Living room: The living room is a good size at 33m² with four comfortable armchairs and three comfortable upholstered benches. There is also some additional furniture, some book cases and also occasional tables, as well as a TV (French channels)
Dining room: The dining room is open plan and adjoins the kitchen. It has sufficient seating for up to 8 people
Kitchen: This is very well equipped with practically everything you will need to cater for your group; Dishwasher, Oven, Fridge, Freezer, Micro-Wave, Washing Machine, Dishwasher plus all the cooking utensils, pots and pans.
Bedrooms: There is one double bedroom and two twins, all with built in wardrobes and all south facing
Bathrooms: One bathroom and two shower rooms with hydro massage showers, all with WCs as well
Further details outdoors: The outside space is equally well equipped with a lovely garden and swimming pool, along with all the necessary garden furniture
Outside: The enclosed garden measures some 300m² and includes a lovely terrace and pool area. This then sits in a much larger 2ha of land that is not cultivated or landscaped but does belong to the same property. There is plenty of garden furniture with a table and chairs and also six good quality comfortable sun beds
Swimming pool: The private pool measures 3m x 10m and is 1m 30 deep.
The villa is also well situated, just a couple of kms to the nearest village at Aureille and close to many of the major attractions in the area e.g. Arles, Avignon, Les Baux de Provence, St Remy de Provence, The Carmargue National Park etc

Gas, electric, & water: are all included in the rental cost.
End-of-stay cleaning: is included in the rental cost.
Bed & bathroom linen: is included in the rental cost.
Taxe de Sejour: in France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. It has been included here in the rental cost.
Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 500 Euros on arrival and this will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
Change over day: Usually Saturday but there may be some flexibility outside of high season
Long weekend stays: This is possible in low season
