Our property is situated in the heart of the fishing village of Audierne, at the mouth of the river Goyen, South West Brittany. This lovely coastal house is sited in the fishing village of Audierne, which sits on the mouth of the river Goyen.
The house is detached, South-West facing with a large patio/ eating area and walled garden. There is parking to the rear of the property for one vehicle. The house has been completely refurbished to a high standard throught to create a comfortable and relaxing interior including many original natural features, and a family friendly and safe environment outside for those long summer nights. Situated off the main road there is virtually no traffic, and absolute peace and quiet is guaranteed. This makes Rue Kleber the perfect location to relax.
There are 3 large supermarkets, 3 delicatessens, 5 pattisseries, and indoor market and Poissonerrie, many small shops and boutiques. Cafe style bars and restaurants with pavement seating overlooking the harbour. Saturday morning and Wednesday evenings enjoy the travelling market, conjuring a wounderful gallic atmosphere

All manner of water sports, sailing, canoeing,canal boating & fishing are available. The area is popular with walkers, campers and camper vans, plus, of course, cyclists. Brittany is a low lying country with no road tolls and little if any traffic congestion.
Audierne area
Staying in Audierne you're never far away from cultural sites and places of interest. The city of Quimper, historic, charming and gracious with river side cafes, restaurants and an excellent array of shops, is only a half hours drive East of Audierne. The city boasts a magnificent Cathedral and museum, art gallery and many outer-city shopping malls.
Many other towns and cities are just a short drive away perfect for family days out. Visit the walled city of Concarneau, packed with shops, cafe bars and restaurants. There's Pont Aven, a quaint and inspired vibrant village where the artist Paul Gaugin lived and worked. Or visit the great medeival city of Locronau, where you can watch silversmiths and glass blowing artisans craft their wares. Brest with its international airport and famous Oceanarium is an hour and a half drive away.
Audierene is perfectly placed on the coast for exploring this beautiful and historic region of France, with so many wonderful cities and sites of interest so close by, it makes for the perfect location for families looking for a relaxing and cultural holiday.
Magnificent beaches stretch both directions along the coastline, with crystal clear waters offering many watersports and a local diving school. There is premier surfing at De la Torche and other venues. The seas abundant with life which make fishing excellent (no pollution). Coastal, river and inland walks are plentiful. Shops, supermarkets, and a variety of quality restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets (the speciality being 'fruits of the sea'). Bars, beaches and an excellent aquarium with coffee shop and restaurant a comfortable walk from the house . Dolphin frequent the marina in Spring and summer.

Further details indoors: Rue Kleber is set out over two floors and is 3 bedroom, sleeps four/six. All beds are provided with fresh clean linen, although towels are not supplied. All windows have secure lockable shutters.
Baby cot and high chair and baby gate all available on request.
Bedroom 1 - The main bedroom is situated on the first floor. There is a king-sized bed and complete bedroom furniture. The window overlooks the patio and garden and offers great views of the surrounding village and hillside.
Bedroom 2 - A loft conversion on the second floor makes up the second bedroom. In this bedroom are twin beds, or a king sized bed (whatever your preference) and full bedroom furniture. This bedroom also overlooks the garden and has lovely views of the surrounding village and hillside.
Bedroom 3 - On the ground floor in the rear bedroom are two single beds and full bedroom furniture.
Two bathrooms - The house has two full bathrooms. The first bathroom is on the first floor and has a large walk-in shower cubicle, towel dryer, toilet and vanity unit with wash-basin. The second bathroom is on the second floor and also has a walk-in shower cubicle, toilet, and vanity unit with wash-basin.
Further details outdoors: The house benefits from a private enclosed garden which extends round one side of the house. There is a large patio/eating area with barbecue. Steps lead down off the patio to a large square pebbled garden. Perfect for games like Boules and Badminton which are avialable. There are sun loungers and outside table and chairs providing the perfect space for Al-fresco style evenings.

Refundable damage deposit of 100 pounds per week required, to be refunded within two weeks after your departure, [subject to satisfactory property inspection.
