Home description
We have available to rent a fully refurbished self-contained Studio Unit which is located in the heart of Mairangi Bay on the North Shore of Auckland City. Less than 200 metres to our beach with other beautiful beaches: Murrays Bay (Yacht Club), Campbells Bay and Castor Bay only a short stroll away. There are also lovely coastal walks around this area. Our studio has its own private entrance and is positioned North facing with great indoor/outdoor flow to a large deck, outdoor setting and private BBQ area. Facilities include all new home appliances, Wifi high-speed Broadband connection, Digital Sky TV, Stereo/CD Player.
Other amenties include Pupuke Golf Club which has a fantastic view out to the Hauraki Gulf, Tennis Club, Surf Club, Volleyball Club, Bowls Club, Children's Playground less than 2 minutes walk. Great restaurants/cafes, boutique shops are only three doors away. Fantastic new Albany Shopping Mall a 10 minute drive away. Shuttle service from Auckland Airport approx. NZ$60.00 one way. On main bus route, Takapuna (10 mins), Auckland City (20 mins off peak). Please note photos of beach not taken from our house.

Auckland / Mairangi Bay area
People travel to Auckland from all over the world. Auckland is a unique city having two harbours and white sand beaches within a 30 minute drive from wherever you are in Auckland. Its also called the 'City of Sails' due to Aucklanders' fondness of sailing, the America's Cup and round the world yacht races. There are white and black sand beaches, lush rainforests, regional parks and a maritime park preserving about 47 islands.
We have many local amenities including, Mairangi Bay Surf Club, Murrays Bay Yachting Club, Pupuke Golf Club, Tennis Club, Bowling Club, Beach Volleyball, Mairangi Bay Arts Centre etc. all only a few minutes walk away! Approximately 12 great cafes and restaurants also available for breakfast, lunch and dinner! We also have a shopping centre including a supermarket, wine shop, fish shop, vegetable shop, banks, post office, clothing boutiques etc. all only 3 doors away!
How to get there
We are situated on the North Shore of Auckland City which is 32km from Auckland International Airport. A taxi ride costs about NZD$80-100.00 or shuttle (a small bus) costs about NZ$60.00. For longer stays we can arrange free transfers.

Further details indoors: Our studio is totally suited to a couple for a short or long term stay. It has been furnished in a contemporary style with a queen size bed, a fold-down sofa bed/couch which also includes high quality linen. Our kitchenette is totally self contained for those wanting to cook in-house with microwave/cooktop elements,benchtop stove available. We also have Sky TV and Wi-fi Broadband if you wish to bring your own computer. A stereo is also available.
Further details outdoors: Your deck has its own private BBQ and outdoor furniture which overlooks our beautiful garden. There is plenty of room for the children to play outdoors too. Beach access is only ten doors away which is perfect for those lovely Summer lazy days. Mairangi Bay is a safe beach and is patrolled during the Summer months by the Surf Club.
