Beachfront Breakaway 2 is a ground level apartment 10m from the white Clarks Beach sands and a perfect retreat for a couple or the whole family.
The beach runs for a kilometre east and west of the property, safe for family swimming and excellent for all water sports from flat calm kayaking to windsufing and parasailing.
You can't beat the taste of a fresh schnapper, smoked gurnard or maybe a few bbq'd scallops with a dob of garlic butter.
Enjoy a round of golf on 1 of NZ's top 10 country courses, most holes have beautiful water views and weekend meals are available.
Like the golf course the boat ramp is only a minutes drive where Clarks Beach Harbour Cruises can show you around all the different bays. Arrangements can be made for a wedding stop at one of the lovely beaches.
Papakura or Pukekohe shopping centres are 20mins away, here is where you buy your best price groceries. There is a local 4 square 5 minutes up the road and a butcher 10 minutes away.
Dont feel like cooking, award winning Chin Wags restaurant and Buenos Aires (fine South American cuisine & pizzza) are only a 400m walk. In the same block you'll find the local fish'n'chip shop, hairdresser, dairy and wholesale alcohol.

The North Island region

Clarks Beach is a rural area with many dairy farms and horses 50 minutes south of Auckland City central business district.
The weather throughout the north island is mild: summer temperatures from 20-32 degrees celcius.
The East cape (Te Araroa and Hicks Bay) are the first in the world to see the sunrise. Early on a fine morning overseas visitors flock to the Cape Lighthouse to take photos.

Winter is also mild 10-20 degrees celcius. It doesnt snow at Clarks Beach but a drive to Mt Ruapehu will see dropping temeratures. The mountain is great for beginners to extreme skiiers and snow boarders.

2 1/2 hours from Clarks Beach is Rotorua with the hot mud pools and geysers. Whakarewarewa is a major tourist attraction where you can learn about the Maori (indigenous people of NZ), their language, weaving, culture, food, song and dance. When you want to relax take a dip in a bubbling mud pool perfect for rejuvenation.

The whole NZ coastline has beautiful beaches all great for fishing, some excellent for surfing, others safe for family swimming.

Wellington at the bottom of the north island is the windy city and capital of NZ. Dont miss a visit to Wellington if you enjoy the fine arts and theatre.

How to get there

35 min by rental car is all it takes to reach the peaceful shores of Clarks Beach.
Fly to Auckland International Airport in New Zealand.
Pick up a rental car at the airport (Avis, Budget, Hertz, Ace or Art)
Leave the international terminal & head straight through the traffic lights (George Bolt/Tom Pearce intersection).
Continue along Tom Pearce. Go Right at the roundabout onto Hape drive.
Turn left at roundabout onto Puhinui road.
You need to be in the right lane at the top of the road to turn right at 2nd set of traffic lights.
Follow Ross Common road & at the 2nd set of lights turn left onto Wiri Station road.
Stay in the left lane and go through 5 sets of lights.
Before the 6th set of traffic lights you need to be in the 2nd to left lane.
Go up the hill in the very left lane to make a left turn onto the southern motorway.
Your exit off the motorway is the 3rd one (Papakura/Karaka).
You need to be in the right lane of the offramp to make a right turn onto Linwood road.
Follow this country road for approximately 20 min.
Make a right turn into McKenzie road and follow to T-intersection (4 square/petrol station infront of you).
Turn right into Clarks Beach road
Left into Torkar road
Drive about 600m and the driveway is on your right

Without getting out of bed enjoy the water views from your master bedroom with ensuite. Stacker ranchslides open right up for you to enjoy the north facing all day sun,sea and sand.
Same ranchslider system in the lounge and a large decked area runs from the lounge to the master bedroom.
The accommodation is self catering, the kitchen area is large with a 900mm gas hob/electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric fry pan and all normal kitchen appliances.
Television and DVD player ensure to keep the children amused on a rainy day.
Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and there is an extra bathroom with shower and toilet.
A laundry room is behind the bathroom.

Further details outdoors:
Feel the soft sand in your toes....only a few steps from your deck. A waveski and canoe (seats 2 small adults or 1 adult, 1 child) are available for your use. Life jackets are provided.
Relax on the outdoor furniture or fire up the BBQ.
Your vehicle/s are safe and secure with the internal access double garage.

If you have a large family or group wishing to stay, There are two apartment at Beachfront Breakaway. You may want both and just leave the doors inbetween unlocked.

A 25% deposit is required on booking confirmation by wire transfer. This is non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 12 weeks of arrival date.
