The North Island region

The Bombay hills south of Auckland NZ though only a small and seemingly insignificant range of hills, they lie at the southern boundary of the Auckland region, and serve as a divide between Auckland and the Waikato region. Bombay is a settlement close to the town of Pukekohe named after the ship Bombay in 1863.Bombay has many tourist attractions and travel activities to suit all ages tastes and budgets.walking, riding, wineries, restaurants, shops, beaches hot pools and more golf clubs in and around the area than anywhere else it appeals to those who want to be entertained or to simply get away from it and relax.

If it's going back in time, visiting local markets, playing golf, horse riding or exploring the Waikato river, then Bombay has it all.

Close to the heart of Auckland city. 35 mins to natural hot mineral pools, 20 mins to the international airport , one does not have to go far to find varoius attractions. Known for its rich soil some say Bombay has some of the best growing earth in the world, hence all the market garden growers in the region. Hunua Ranges close by the area is landscaped with parks, trees and grassy volcanic cones. Farmland survives in the outlying areas of Rodney, Cleveland and Franklin.
