This stunning house has been built to offer an extremely high standard of accommodation whilst also being very eco friendly. The house has 2 Double En-Suite Bedrooms, 2 Double or Twin En-Suite Bedroom, 1 Triple Bedroom and 1 Twin Room sharing a Bathroom. A Children's Bunk Room with 2 sets of bunks beds sleeping 4 in total and a Four Poster Double Bedroom, these two rooms share one bathroom, both having independent access. There is also a Ground Floor Shower Room.
There is a formal dining room. The sitting room has an open fire. The Kitchen is large with a table and chairs to seat 20 guests and two sofas with a large screen TV, full sky package, DVD player, X Box, Playstation 2 and a Wii.
Outside there is Covered Swimming Pool in the rear courtyard a covered Hot Tub at the front of the house with views towards Gleneagles. There is also an Outdoor Pizza Oven as well as coal BBQ. There is Croquet Lawn at the front of the house , a Sunken Trampoline & Tree House to the side.

The front door opens into the formal dining hall with circular table and chairs. Double doors lead through to the sitting room with open fire, sofas and chairs and card table. Through to the huge kitchen which has a table and chairs for 20 guests in the middle, 2 sofas and TV, DVD & Games at one end and the kitchen to the far end. The kitchen has a double oven and hob, two dishwashers, microwave and large fridge freezer. There are patio doors to the front lawn and rear courtyard.
Through the kitchen is the laundry area with washing machine, tumble dryer and outdoor clothes dryer. Here you will find another fridge and freezer. A doorway leads to the covered hot tub and there is also a shower room as well as the games room with snooker table and darts board.
The first floor has 2 double bedrooms both with en-suite bathroom, with bath, overhead shower, wash hand basin and w.c. A double or twin bedroom also with identical en-suite bathroom. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with large oval bath with central mounted taps, a large walk in shower, two wash hand basins and w.c. There is also a sofa bed in this room. A doorway leads through to the bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds. The doorway leads through to another house bathroom with access through to the four poster bedroom. The Four poster bedroom has independent access via the rear staircase, there is no need to go through the master bedroom to reach this bedroom.
The second floor has a triple bedroom and a twin bedroom which share a house bathroom. There is also a TV area with sofa.
All bedrooms have TV with freeview.

The pool is a heated covered pool, you can swim with the cover part open or closed.
PLEASE NOTE: The driveway to the house is long and steep and has uneven surfaces in places. We strongly recommend at least one member of your party has a 4 X 4 and that the driveway is not suitable for low clearance vehicles such as sports cars.
Please note: Alexander House has dining facilities for 20 people only, and this is the total number of guests allowed in the house at any one time without prior arrangement.
A deposit equal to a third of the rental plus the £28.00 booking fee is required to confirm the reservation. The final balance is due 56 days prior to arrival.
We will pre authorise your credit or debit card for £350.00 as a security deposit. This will be taken 2 weeks prior to your arrival and directions to the property will be forwarded at this point.
We will then release the authorisation on your card within 7 - 10 days of your departure providing the house has been left in good order.
Credit card payments, Visa, Mastercard and American Express will be charged at 1.9%.
There is an additional £28.00 Booking Fee

The area offers lots of golf courses, from local courses to famous courses such as Gleneagles.
There is a whole host of activities on your doorstep. Gleneagles is only a few miles away and apart from golf, also offers clay pigeon shooting, horse riding, falconery as well as a beautiful spa. There are whisky tours and trails, historic houses as well as miles of pathways to walk or cycle.

"Stunning, very comfortable family house with amazing views"
If you are thinking of booking a holiday or getting together for a special celebration with family or a group of friends, I would highly recommend Alexander House. My two grown up children and their Spouses, my 19 month old Grandson and my brother and his wife travelled up to Auchterarder. A lot of thought has been put into the creation of this beautiful home by the owners. From the children's play area in the grounds and the books, toys and games - which my Grandson adored - to the stunning large family room / kitchen with views over the hills that take your breath away. We enjoyed sitting around the large family table eating, drinking or even playing board games - memories that still make me smile when I think of them.

In winter you may need to push cars up the hill but it is all part of the fun.
