Located in the central area of Monastiraki, a three- minute walk to Monastiraki Metro Station (on the airport line) and only ten-minute walk from the ancient rock of Acropolis, this loft offers a rare panoramic undisturbed view of the Parthenon and the Acropolis hill with old Athens, as well as all the surroundings including the Ancient Agora, the Temple of Apollo and the Planetarium
The flat has just been renovated by the owners, both architects; the vision was to frame all the amazing views, once you are here you do not want to leave!! Fully equipped with everything you would need to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The Attica region
Athens is a bustling metropolis with everything you possibly can be looking for: culture, good food, sun and Mediterranean hospitality.
A visit to the Acropolis is of course a must, but don't forget that you also can go on daytrips to one of the many beaches south of Athens by tram or to the nearby islands of Aegina, Poros and Hydra by boat.

The Athens / Plaka, Athens area
Monastiraki Area: The area northwest of the Acropolis and Plaka is named Monastiraki, meaning 'little monastery'. The small narrow streets are mainly taken up by the flea market stalls that sell all sorts of souvenirs, jewelry, clothes, and anything else you can think of.
Psirri: Once an area of leather tanning workshops, Psirri was transformed a few years back to make it Athens’ prime nightspot. Packed with an ever-growing range of bars, tavernas, and dance clubs, it offers mainstream entertainment. Several Latin and Oriental-themed bars add the spice.
Plaka: Plaka is like a small village within a big city. The flat is situated in a quiet pedestrian street with no souvenir shops - but just next door to a very special museum: the children' art museum! There are plenty of restaurants and cafés in Plaka- some very touristic!

Fly into to Athens airport and get to this lovely flat the easiest way! By Metro!!
Follow the signs to the Metro station of the airport, take the direct line into Athens centre, get off Monastiraki station, the apartment is 2 blocks away!! Very easy and economic way to travel, save the 25-30 Euros taxi fee into the city!
Another way is with the airport bus (no 95) into Syntagma square, walk down to Ermou STR to Monastiraki Square, the flat is 2 blocks away. Check it on a map, address: Pittaki 11
From Piraeus, again take the train line to Athens centre, stop at Monastiraki station, we are 2 blocks away!
Monastiraki station is of the few stations that server the new Metro and the train line!!

This place is great. Some Suggestions: Needs blackout blind and stronger internet connection. The apartment is ultra modern and clean. The psirri area is a little of putting but the apartment makes up for it. |
