Home description
The apartment is located at Thrakomakedones, a most quiet and by the nature suburbs, a beautiful holiday resort for those who desire to combine nature and city, tranquility and night-life, sports and sightseeing and new and old Athens. It is very convenient to the airport and down town Athens.
The apartment is made up of two levels in open plant style. At the first level there is the entrance, a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting room with fire place, a dining room and a WC. A staircase leads to the second level where you find 3 bedrooms, a king bedroom with a double bed and an en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi and two other bedrooms with four single beds and another spacious bathroom with shower. The total area of the above levels is 250 s. m.
All the bedrooms the sitting room and the kitchen lead to the balconies where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains, the whole city of Athens and at the background the sea.
A stone path leads through the slopping herb garden to the BBQ area where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine under the pine tree gazing the city of Athens under your feet.

The Attica region
If you want or need a short break from the serenity and quiet of the house and the surroundings we recommend you some places you can reach easily as we are so closed to the highway.
Akropolis, the holy rock of Athens is a mere that you have to see. It’s the place where democracy was born and Plaka and the Ancient Agora the places where the philosophers use to express themselves. It takes 35min from the house by car or you can take the bus and afterwards the metro.
Sounion, the temple of Poseidon, at the southeast cost of Attica. The car ride is about 50 min.
Plenty of sandy or rocky beaches are within 35 to 50 min away from the house (N. Makri, Porto Rafti, Daskalio, Sounio, Kalamos, ecc).
Marathon, Delphi, Corinthos and many more, offer the prospect of fantastic day trips.
From the ports of Rafina, Lavrio and Piraeus, you can also enjoy day visits or cruises to many islands.
Enjoy the countryside as the Forest of Parnitha begins just outside the house. A lot of country sports you can find nearby.
Only 2km away there is the Casino of Parnitha the only one in the region of Attica.
Athens / Thrakomakedones area
Thrakomakedones is a suburb in the north side of Athens, hung on the mountainside of Parnitha overlooking the whole city of Athens and the plain of Attica. You can wander to the eye over the city, reaching up to Piraeus and the nearby islands of Salamina and Egina.
Thrakomakedones is a quiet pine-clad area where in 2004 hosted the athletes for the Olympic Games in the Olympic Village. From this area begins the National Forest of Parnitha for visitors who love walking and mountain activities.
Just outside the house there is a bus-stop and the bus leads you to the metro station or to other shopping centre suburbs.
Only 2 km distance from our villa there is the cable car that leads the casino players to the structure of the Mont Parnes.
How to get there
Our apartment is located 40 km from the Athens airport, 28 km from the port of Piraeus and is within minutes of the multiple grocery and shopping stores.
You can hire a car from the airport / port or we can arrange you one.
