Athens / Ampelokipi area
“Ampelokipi” is one of the more fortunate areas of Athens in terms of public transport. The nearest metro station and bus stations are only a step away while the search for a taxi is a piece of cake and the use of it is very economically since most of the destinations are only 5 to 10 minutes away. Ampelokipi is a lively area with a lot of traditional taverns and international restaurants (Friday’s, Applebee’s), bars, cinemas and theaters, Super Markets and even a street market where you can buy fresh products at very reasonable prices.
How to get there
- Cheap flight available from all the low cost airline companies like Easyjet. - From the airport take the Undergound (blue line) and get off at “Panormou” station. From there the apartments are only 5 minutes walk. - The search for a taxi is a piece of cake and the use of it is very economically since most of the destinations are only 5 to 10 minutes away. - The port of Piraeus is very easy to be reached by the underground and the suburban railway.
