Cosy and comfortable one bedroom flat in quiet pedestrian street in Plaka, the old city of Athens, with everything at walking distance. Fully equipped. Air conditioning. Central heating. Washing machine.

Groups of more than two people cannot be accommodated. The minimum rental period is one week. Winter rentals 2011-2012: £350 per week as from December 1, 2011.

Athens is a bustling metropolis with everything you possibly can be looking for: culture, good food, sun and Mediterranean hospitality. A visit to the Acropolis is of course a must, but don't forget that you also can go on daytrips to one of the many beaches south of Athens by tram or to the nearby islands of Aegina, Poros and Hydra by boat. Athens is truly a destination for all seasons!

The Athens / Plaka, Athens area

Plaka is like a small village within a big city. The flat is situated in a quiet pedestrian street with no souvenir shops - but just next door to a very special museum: the children' art museum! There are plenty of restaurants and cafés in Plaka, but also some very good ones in Thisseio, Psirri and Kolonaki. I would be happy to share my tips and suggestions with you!

If you are visiting in the summer, don't miss the faboulous Athens Festival with world famous artists performing outdoors in the Herodes Atticus Amphitheatre, just a seven minutes' walk from the flat!

“An Amazing experience” This was our 5th trip to Athens & we always used to stay in hotels. This time we decided to rent an apartment and it was an absolutely amazing experience! Kodrou Plaka is an excellent apartment! It is just perfect for 2 people with all its amenities, clean, comfortable with a lovely balcony. Its location is superb, right in Plaka ,& the most attractive part of the city center. You can easily walk to Athen's most popular places. My adult daughter and I stayed there for a week and we strongly recommend this place for people who

"We stayed here in the winter and found it ideal for our purposes and really grew fond of the place. The owner was 100 percent reliable, pleasure to deal with, keys arrived promptly before arrival. It is a cosy flat, clean, (great for non-smokers), quiet, very comfortable bed, tastefully decorated and in a fantastic location, right in the heart of Plaka. Great to have internet facilities, washing machine, bath, CD player with a wide choice of CDs. We are not TV fans so didn't use TV or DVD, but it is all there if you want it. Being right in the centre of Plaka it is easy to be out late, see a concert, dine at one of the lovely local tavernas. We have stayed in Athens many times at different hotels and apartments around the city, and can certainly recommend this lovely little place as good value in a perfect location."
