About the home

Ideally located a unique apartment in a very peaceful neighborhood, with an amazing view over the port of Piraeus, the largest port of Greece.
It was built in 2006, it is modern decorated with very expensive materials. It is in the fifth of a seven floor building. It is furnished and fully equipped.
It is very comfortable because there are three separate bedrooms, where 6 persons can be easily accommodated and two bathrooms. In the living room there is also a corner sofa which can be transformed into a double bed. The heating is autonomous and there is also a fireplace. Bed linen, towels, cutlery, dishes, pans, wifi internet and all electric devices are provided. From the apartment, there is also access to the roof garden of the building where there is a fully equipped barbecue. Access for disabled persons from the road.There is boiler which provides 24 hours hot water.
Finally there is a private car parking inside the building at no extra cost. Airport or any other transport is available upon demand at an additional cost.
The apartment lies very close to the port of Piraeus. Only 200 m away from the apartment is the docking of the Cruise Ships, thus it is suitable for tourists who are cruising. Moreover the apartment is very close to the docking of the boats which are travelling to the Aegean and Argosaronik gulf islands. 1.5 km away , it is the Marina Zeas, Pasalimani and Mikrolimano. Peiraiki beach which is an ideal place for romantic walks, is located only 1000 m from the apartment.

150 m away from the apartment there are bus stations from where the buses are leading to the most areas of Attica. The line 843 leads in less than 10 minutes to the boats for most islands, to metro (line1 Piraeus station) and to suburban railway (Piraeus station). The same line 843, meets in 3-5 minutes in the port of Piraeus the bus line X96 which leads to the international airport of Athens, Eleftherios Venizelos.
The line 040 leads in about thirty minutes to the Acropolis museum and to the Syntagma Square in the centre of Athens. The line 049 in 25-35 minutes is leading to Omonoia Square in the centre of Athens as well. Finally the line A1 is leading in less than 40 minutes to the most beaches of the south suburbs of Athens.

The Attica region

The climate of Attica and especially in south suburbs, where the apartment is located, is very warm and dry. The weather most of the year is mild. Swimming is possible because of the weather from April to November.

There are many places of archaeological interest in whole Attica region , where was the land of ancient Athenians. A very nice place to visit is Cape Sounio.

The Athens area

There are many museums in Athens. Acropolis with Parthenon is one of the best tourist attractions. There are many beaches especially in south suburbs of Athens. Amazing nightlife all year. Nea Smuni has a very nice square with many shops only for pedestrians.

“Best Apartment in Pireaus, perfect for location, and a great base to escape to the islands” The property was absolutely perfect, we used it as a base for filming our TV show and we also used it as a location for a press conference/party one evening. There is everything you could need, clean, tidy, beautifully represented, fast wi-fi (for us a neccessity) Washing Machine, large rooms and really it felt like our home, we came back again after filming in the islands. George the manager/landlord couldn't have been more accomodating, waiting for us at the last minute, and he went out of his way to do anything to make our stay as comfortable as ever. The rooms have balcony's all around, so there was space for everyone to their own thing and have their own space. This is a great apartment (I would say penthouse) and incredible value for money, you could sleep up to eight people there. To pay for a hotel room at this standard for this many people would cost you at least E800 per night. We will definitely be using this again as our base when we go back to Athens to film our Winter season and look forward to seeing George again.

“A lovely place” This apartment was more like a penthouse located in one of the more posh sections of Pireas, was close enough to all the great places such as the harbor, the city's shopping district, a bus depot with busses ready to take you anywhere in Athens and other suburbs yet set back enough and on the 5th floor to provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Spacious, clean and airy with beautiful views all around, it had all the amenities we needed. George, our host was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The area was also full of great places to eat or just buy some fresh food and bring it up to eat. Safety was never an issue. We would highly recommend it, Sincerely, John and Penny Hoffman

“A superb well-furnished and conveniently located holiday home” I found this apartment online, and would wholeheartedly recommend staying here. The manager, George, was incredibly helpful beforehand, answering all my queries rapidly. He arranged our airport transfers for a very reasonable price (even at inconvenient times in the morning). The flat itself is exactly as described/pictured, with three very comfortable rooms and a pleasant open-plan living room and balcony. All of the furnishings are in a good state, as are the electrical appliances. The flat is within easy walking distance of the port (for cruises), train, beach and metro. For the price paid, it was the ideal base for our trip, and I would gladly rent it again!
