The Attica region

Athens is the capital of Greece. Even though it might feel hectic and chaotic at first glance, it has a plethora of offerings. Aside the classical, Roman, and Byzantine ruins and the museums, there are enchanting beach towns 20 minutes down the coast, a vibrant nightlife, and supreme culinary establishments which would make even the most demanding traveler come back for more.

Athens

Plaka was the classical, Byzantine, Ottoman, and early modern center of Athens. The apartment is located right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of things in a very lively and colorful area. All kind of stores are a stone throw away from the apartment, ranging from tavernas and artisan food stores to clothing, antique and even contemporary art galleries. I have also worked on "My Mini Athens Guide" which I am emailing to my guests once the booking is made. My aim is to have the visitor experience Athens through my own eyes and to avoid the all too common tourist traps.

The entrance to the Acropolis museum is a mere 150 meters and the entrance to the Acropolis & the Parthenon no more than 300 meters. The Hadrian's arch no more than 150 meters. All in all I cannot think of a better location for the visitor eager to spend a few days and experience what Athens has to offer.
