Tugford is nestled under the Brown Clee Hill - A E Housmans A Shropshire Lad country and surrounded by beautiful quiet countryside. A rural retreat taking you back in time to quiet country roads and starry night skys.
Tugford Farm is a family run working farm with equine livery.
Our aim is to introduce guests to the beauty of South Shropshire and ensure they have a restful and happy stay with us.
The Historic Town of Ludlow is only a short way from us and has many festivals throughout the year.
Church Stretton is a walkers paradise and for those feeling energetic there are many cycle trails on and around the Long Mynd, not to mention the Glider station and para gliding site on the top of the hill.
Wenlock Edge is just the other side of the valley and leads towards the famous Iron Bridge Gorge just beyond Much Wenlock.
We provide maps for walkers, cyclists and horse riders and have our own farm trail around part of the perimeter of the farm.
The Shropshire Way and Jack Mytton way pass by the farm also.
The Tally Ho pub 2 miles down the lane provide good value quality meals and Real Ales.
