Home descriptionThere are two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and two bathrooms in the property. The kitchen is separate from the spacious lounge. Guests are also warmly welcome to make use of the extensive terraced garden at the back of Palazzo Minciotti. It is completely secluded from the street and affords incredible views of both town and Mount Subasio and the other hills surrounding Assisi. There is even a sun room style kitchen in the middle of the garden for use by the guests who like to eat al fresco.

There are many medieval towns, such as Perugia, Orvieto, Foligno, Todi, Spoleto, Gubbio which all deserve a visit. There are also many Franciscan sites such as Santa Maria degli Angeli, San Damiano and the Eremo delle Carceri, all at a very short distance from Assisi. Assisi areaAssisi should not need an introduction. It is a well preserved medieval town with Roman remains and for the past 800 years it has attracted pilgrims as the birth place of St Francis of Assisi. The Mount Subasio Regional Park is only a few miles from Assisi and is ideal for walks in all seasons. All around Assisi there are olive groves, as the vegetation is mediterranean. The town itself is full of artistic treasures. The most famous churches are the two Basilicas of San Francesco, built one on top of the other, and the Basilica of Santa Chiara. They are some of the finest examples of medieval churches anywhere. There are also Roman museums to be visited, and other ancient churches. The main feast day is 4th October, in honour of St. Francis. There are other festivals throughout the year, such as Calendimaggio in early May. How to get there![]() ![]() Ryanair flies regularly from London Stansted to Perugia Airport, which is only a 15 minutes' drive from Assisi. Taxis are always available at the airport. They are now letting out three of the apartments in the Palazzo in order to raise cash for the maintenance of this wonderful and historic building, which is just opposite the Cathedral of San Rufino. So the owners will be living in a separate apartment in the Palazzo and will always be available if need be. ConditionsGuests are welcome to book the properties for a minimum of 3 nights. For stays longer than 2 weeks rent can be negotiated. There is no maximum duration of stays. Rental rates
The property's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights 30% deposit is payable upon booking and the balance three weeks before arrival. Rents are negotiable for stays longer than two weeks. Rental rates for the period from 16th October to 6th April do not include heating, which will be charged at cost in euros.
