Further details indoors

The home was built in 2007 and is of exceptional quality. There were special provisions made for soundproofing and insulation and they used very high quality materials. There are currently no neighbors living on either side, so there is additional quiet and privacy. I am the first owner of this home and have equipped it to live in myself, so it is full of conveniences and special features. It is fully furnished, including linens, towels, plates, dishes, even olive oil, salt, pepper, etc! There are 2 full baths, one with bathtub and one with glass-enclosed shower, both with bidet and heated towel racks. A cleaning service is available however often you like during your stay for a fee of approx EUR 20/cleaning.

Further details outdoors

There is a small front yard and patio which is large enough for outdoor dining, and includes a table and chairs. Upstairs in front there is a large balcony, and in the back of the house there is a back terrace, and two tiny balconies (a total of 5 accesses to the outside!) The front and back yards are watered with an automatic system. The back garden is full of herbs and flowering plants and I have chosen them so that at almost all times of the year at least one variety is in bloom, and you can enjoy this from the kitchen window or back patio.

A bilingual English/Italian speaker will meet you with the keys and will be able to answer any questions you may have as well as give you suggestions about things to do in the Asolo area.

Asolo

Find yourself in the center of Asolo in 5 minutes drive. Relax at Caffe' Centrale with some homemade ice cream in the afternoon or before dinner with a spritz aperol, the local apertivo. Explore the cobblestone streets and pop in to the many unique boutiques. Asolo also has a famous antiquities market every 2nd Sunday of the month (which is where my beautiful dining room table was purchased). This relaxing environment has inspired authors such as Ernest Hemmingway, Robert Browning, and Pietro Bembo.

Asolo is also host to an amazing annual series of chamber music (Incontri Asolani), which features musicians from around the world. There are also myriad festivals, celebrations and fairs throughout the year in Asolo's piazza. This area is also famous for bicycling, hiking and climbing. The Giro d'Italia made a stop in Asolo in 2010.

Golf is just a 10min drive from the house

Das sehr gepflegte und saubere Haus ist das mittlere in einem Dreier-Reihenhaus in einer ausschließlich von Italienern bewohnten Siedlung. Da würde man nicht unbedingt von völliger Ruhe ausgehen - … More

"Everything you need, view included"

The house had everything you might possibly need. It made our stay very comfortable. The surroundings are very serene and beautiful. My only down point it that it might not be very suitable for young families as it misses opportunities for kids entertainment in the surroundings. Other than that, it was perfect.

"Hidden Gem in the Hills of Italy!"

We were recently in Italy for the UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships in Montebelluna and stayed at this beautiful home in Monfumo for five days. It is nestled in the hills just minutes away from the town of Asolo (a must see!) and about 25 minutes from Montebelluna. It is surrounded by small vinyards and rolling corn fields. We were very impressed by the architecture of the house (which is a central unit with houses on either side) with an open kitchen and living area, three sleeping areas and two full bathrooms, and Pella style windows throughout,. We were able to sleep with the windows open every night since there are screens, a big plus! It was cool and incredibly quiet! We enjoy staying in non-tourist places in order to get the real experience of an area - eating at small local restaurants, buying groceries at the markets and specialty stores, and figuring our scenic routes to get to destinations. It was also really nice being able to cook in (gas appliances) and do our laundry since we each just packed a small carry-on bag for 10 days of travel. Margo, the homeowner, was great and kept in touch with us throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this property and can't wait to go back!

Thank you so much for your review. You were lovely guests and I found it so sweet that you left us hats and t-shirts from the race. We look forward to the opportunity to host you again in the future!
