Villa | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 8
A country house that appears on the maps as early as the XVIth century, representing a region with a natural climate for the cultivation of grapes, olives, cherries and chestnuts.
Abandoned during the XXth century, it was recently restored to reflect the original aspect while optimizing the house's energy efficiency to reflect the most modern principles of sustainable architecture applied to both the exterior and the technological systems.
This country estate now presents itself as a large space managed by the cultivators who live here and offer hospitality to visitors who wish to fully experience the ancient rhythms of the cultivation of grapevines and olive, in the midst of which it is now possible to swim in a pool of natural water that has disappeared and has now been restored.
The ground floor features a large living room and veranda facing the landscape of the Castle, a large dining room that seats thirty with a corner for conversation arranged around a typical Venetian fireplace, and a perfectly equipped kitchen that opens onto a portico facing south. A bathroom with a shower, a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and a closet complete the floor plan.
The upper floor features three bedrooms, two with queen-size beds and one with two twin-size beds, each of them with a bathroom en-suite; there is also a parlour in the upper part of the portico which, if required, can become a comfortable double room with a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape.
At the entrance, the outside of the house overlooks an ample courtyard in which at least 6 automobiles may park comfortably, while the part opposite the living room, as an extension of the veranda, opens onto an ample green lawn that leads to space further down equipped to serve as a solarium with a pool of water that is perfect for a swim.
