I had been planning a surprise weekend away for my husbands 30th birthday and came across this beautiful cottage! Myself and husband arrived on the Friday and was delighted with the small 2 bed cottage. It has everything you need for a relaxing weekend away, stunning gardens surround the properties and provide a gorgeous view from the bedrooms. The surprise for my husband was that our friends joined us for another 2 nights in the bigger cottage next door. This cottage was equally as lovely and had the added bonus of a secluded garden where we had a few bbq's and played table tennis and bowls! We all enjoyed a long walk through the fields and woodland areas which surrounded the cottages. Nigel and Wendy we're very welcoming and made our stay very comfortable. Not one of our party wanted to leave! We will definitely be returning for another stay! :)

Two of us stayed at Oak Cottage for two weeks whilst studying at ABDO College in Godmersham in September 2012 and have already booked for our next block in 2013. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, the welcoming off Nigel and Wendy was amazingly friendly and we were made to feel right at home. Nigels directions to the cottage were invaluable! It is lovely to be surrounded by fields and animals. The cottage is remote and feels very safe and secure but is close to Ashford and Canterbury for anything you may need.
It was a bit cold to go swimming in the swimming lake but we sat down dipping our feet in the relaxing atmophere.
The cottage has everything you could want and is very comfortable.
Our stay was fantastic and we can't wait to get down their again.
