BookThe South East England / Kent region
Known as the Garden of England this area is famous for growing Hops and apples. The Estate was originally a hop farm. Attractions in Kent include the beautiful castle of Leeds, Hever and Dover. Some fantastic beeches are accessed along the coast between Rye and Hythe. The quaint Cinque Port towns provide an enjoyable day out by the sea and the historic Dock yards at Chatham are great for old and young alike. The world famous cathedral at Canterbury and punting on the river Stour are not to be missed.
The Ashford, Kent / Challock area
Challock provides two pubs, one serving excellent food 7 days a week and a barn shop providing local Kent produce. The towns of Canterbury, Ashford and Faversham are within easy reach by car. Challock is a rural community with horse ridding, walking and cycling in some of Kent's most beautiful countryside including the amazing Kings wood. Also available in the village is the Kent Gliding club where you can book a passenger ride to soar high above your accommodation and see all across Kent on a clear day. The Beech Court Tea Rooms and gardens are also worth a visit.

Landlords are expecially helpful in making the stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The swimming lake is especially fun and was a real highlight of the stay - rain or shine! We will definitely be staying again. |
