Janis and Alastair welcome you to come and stay for your holidays, weekends short breaks or that special night in our beautiful unique Shepherds Huts that are designed to give you the experience of the Shepherds Huts original countryside use but with its own private ensuite bathroom with hot and cold water
The Shepherds Hut sleeps up to two persons on a built in double bed with a sprung mattress and large plump cushions for day use [as shown], it is well equipped with a cosy wood burner for the odd cold night.
Each hut is provided with - linen, towels, china, cutlery, gas barbeque, out-door table and chairs - a full list of what is included can be found on the booking page.
For your breakfast we provide eggs, sausages and bacon from the local award winning butcher, for you to cook at your leisure on your BBQ or wood burner
For your evening meal why not BBQ with meats we produce on the farm for you to cook [when available at an additional cost]
Alternatively we can deliver your pre-ordered evening meal, to your Shepherds Hut, [at an extra charge] for your private romantic evening
you can enjoy sitting out in the late evening/night by your fire pit and watch the stars and satellites fly by

Kent is divided by the M20 motorway - London to Dover and the HS1 High Speed railway that connects London [38 mins from Ashford] or Eurostar - Ashford to Europe, France and beyond
Bethersden - set in the Weald of Kent, adjoining the parishes of Smarden and Pluckey - is a small village and five miles (8 km) west of Ashford, Kent.
The village has a shop and post office, two public houses – The Bull and The George. It has a beautiful church (St Margaret's), built in the early 15th century, and a Baptist church (Union Chapel).
Bethersden formerly well-known for producing Marble [used in the font at Canterbury Cathedral] and was a centre of the Kentish wool trade. Lovelace Place in Bethersden was the birthplace of 17th-century poet Richard Lovelace.
Nearby is the farm used for the film set of the "Darling Buds of May"
Many old timber framed Kent houses exist in the Parish and in Smarden a very picaresque village often used for film sets.
Pluckley is known as the most haunted village in Kent lies to the north
