Forstal Farm Cottage is pet friendly and is in a lovely location to enjoy a walking holiday with your dog. Nestling at the foot of the wonderful North Downs, an area of outstanding natural beauty, are many footpaths and bridleways to explore. The famous chalk Wye crown is also within an easy walk. A short drive from Ashford International Station with its high speed links to London and France, three miles from the M20 and 20 minutes from the Channel Tunnel this holiday cottage is easily accessible. Wye village is also close by and is a quintessential English village which boasts a Farmers Market, pubs, village shop and historic Church.

Forstal Farm Cottage is accessed from the gravelled parking area and the main door leads directly into the well equipped kitchen, with modern fittings including a gas hob, electric oven, extractor fan, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is ample dining space around a large round pine table.
A doorway leads into the open plan sitting room with double height ceiling making the most of the stunning exposed beams. This has been traditionally furnished with two comfy sofas and two chairs, giving plenty of seating space. At one end of the living room is a chest with a flat screen TV sitting on top and DVD player/recorder.
Leading from the sitting room a wooden staircase takes you up to the galleried landing and into the main bedroom. This has a double bed, bedside tables and wardrobe storage. This room boasts plenty of space and light due to the two large slanted windows in the roof and a wealth of exposed beams.
From the sitting room steps lead to an inner hallway with doors to a twin bedded room and the bathroom. The bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, toilet and basin.

French doors lead out from the sitting room into the fully enclosed and secure garden, perfect for families with children, complete with teak table and chairs provided for your relaxation. The garden boasts a large grassed area with vegetables in the border available for you to enjoy during your holiday. Parking is at the front of the cottage.

Brook itself is nestled below the North Downs adjoining the chalkland nature reserve and is surrounded by farmland. Locally you can go riding, have a day's fishing or try out some of the links golf courses in and around Kent. Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens are 45 minutes drive from Forstal Farm Cottage, perfect for a day out during your stay.
Wye village is less than three miles away and is a delightful walk through the Kent countryside. Wye is a quintessential English village which is in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It boasts a thriving farmers market, every first and third Saturday of the month – this is the perfect chance to stock up on fresh local produce and locally crafted gifts for friends and family.
For those wishing to make a day trip to France, Kent offers both the Eurostar Train at Ashford and the Channel Tunnel at Folkestone which will transport you to a French location in 30 minutes.
A traditional Kent pub is just a few minutes walk down the road, where you can relax in the restaurant and enjoy delicious home cooked food and try some of Kent’s finest ales.
Leeds Castle is located about 20 miles from this Kent self-catering holiday cottage and is one of the most beautiful castles in Britain. With a moated castle, spacious grounds and even a maze there is plenty to keep everyone amused for a whole day out. For those who like excitement Leeds Castle also has a Go Ape attraction which is a high wire climbing adventure through the treetops.
