Numerous relaxing and enjoyable walks from the cottage in the surrounding countryside. The cottage is within easy reach of the Peak District, including Dovedale, Ilam, Manifold Valley, Alton Towers, Kedleston Hall, Sudbury Hall, and other attractions.The towns of Ashbourne, "Gateway to the peak District" is 8 miles, and Derby 10 miles, are within easy reach. Ideal for walking holidays and a quiet, relaxing time away from the crowds. Small to medium, well behaved dogs are welcome.

From Ashbourne all the attractions of the Peak District are in easy reach, including Dovedale, Ilam, Alton Towers, Manifold Valley, Titteswell Trail and many more.
