The stone, steal and granite kitchen - with features such as a 5-ring gas hob and rotisserie - is a chef's delight. 4 big, bright bedrooms are sparsely but comfortably furnished. Each has a spacious, relaxing bathroom or shower room en-suite, 2 with Jacuzzi and 2 with access to the terrace. There are a further 2 unfurnished (except for beds) bedrooms under the eaves for occasional use. Air conditioning and central heating throughout. The local towns of Montalto, Monte Rinaldo, Ortezzano or Montelparo are a dream. The sandy beaches of Porto San Giorgio, Grottamarre and San Benedetto del Tronto are gems.

Further details outdoors

House is accessed by a private white road. This adds to the feeling of joyous seclusion. The house is surrounded by 2.5 hectares of private land that includes a mature wood. The reception and dining rooms open onto a covered patio which leads to a large garden area which falls away to the wood below. At the back of the property a pebbled area is large enough for the parking of up to five cars.

The Marche/Abruzzo region

Pretty local Romanesque villages:

The local villages of Montelparo, Monte Rinaldo and Montalto delle Marche are of exquisite Romanesque character. Villages well worth a visit include Loretto (for the spectacular cathedral) Fermo (for the pretty square) Accoli Piceno (for the perfectly proportioned central square) and Urbino (for the opera house).

Sandy beaches:

Porto Saint Giorgio, Grottamare and San Benedetto del Tronto each offer sandy beaches, palm-lined promenades and sea food restaurants to make you want to stay forever. You can choose from quiet areas or the joyous frenzy of Italian holidaying families overflowing the beach chairs and parasols.

Italy’s best kept secret:

Le Marche is undiscovered Italy! It is centrally located, bordering the Adriatic at the east and the spine of the Sibillini mountains inland to the west. Sunbathing and swimming are the main draw for Italians but Inland there are the wonderful hilltop towns and villages to explore. Walking or cycling in the Sibillini National Park is a must. The colours in the countryside are a constant riot whilst the small fields of green olive groves are truly restful. The undulating landscape can affect you deeply: Discover Le Marche at Villa Marche and you just may rediscover yourself.

Ski:

In winter you can enjoy alpine skiing thanks to the modern ski lifts in Sassotetto (Sarno), Pintura (Bolognola), Frontignano (Ussita) and Monte Prata (Castel Sant'Angelo sul Nera) with runs of varying length and difficulty. Cross-country skiing is also very popular.

Golf:

Agrigolf Civitanova Marche Golf Driving Range. Affiliated member of Federazione Italiana Golf. 6 holes with fairways. Facilities: putting green, pitching green, bunkers, club house.

Conero Golf Club Sirolo - The Championship way = 18 holes, par 71. Plus 5 holes on the executive field.

"Fantastic location, stunning scenery and beautiful accomodation"

I've stayed here twice now with my two teenage children. It's very open and spacious, contemporary and relaxing. Great beaches, lovely local towns and of course great Italian food!
