"A perfect stay"
We've had a perfect stay at Stream Cottage. Thank you so much to Janet and Mike for looking after us and for going above and beyond making us feel welcome. The lemon cake and breakfasts were delicious! We hope to come back again soon when we're next in the area. Thanks again!

"Fabulous English Bed and Breakfast Cottage!"
My wife and I stayed at the cottage for four nights, walking the South Down Way and from village to village during the day. The Amberley-Arundel area is a wonderful area to visit, easy access from Lo… More

"Wonderful cottage, well equiped and cosy and genuinely nice hosts."
Stayed a couple of nights and were well pleased with our choice so much so that we will certainly go back again next year. Everything was delightful and could not critercize anything.

Lovely quirky place in a beautiful village. Quintessentially English. Good service and a warm welcome. It was a pleasure to stay.
I was welcomed with a pot of tea and some cake in a lovely little lounge, which was part of the B&B accommodation. There's also the bedroom, and a private bathroom. The house has lots of character. The room is clean, cosy and has a good size, equipped with all the usual amenities plus a fridge and very good WiFi connection.
The hosts are very friendly and I felt very welcome. However, you should like pets, as I was greeted by a dog when I came in and three cats crossed my way while staying there. I personally liked that as it has a homely feel for me, but maybe should be considered if you are allergic against cats.
The breakfast menu offers more than just the usually available full English. You're spoiled for choice. When I visited, I had a lovely blueberry pancake with caramelised bananas. As I understand, the breakfast menu changes by season (at least the menu said it was for May 2013).
It is situated in a charming little village, perfectly situated if you want to do sightseeing in West Sussex, like Arundel Castle or Petworth House, which are just a couple of miles away. The house is, however, far enough from any big road to be really quiet, but easily accessible by the village road.
If I'll ever visit that part of England again, I won't look for any other place to stay, but check first if I can get the room there.
I can highly recommend it.

"A delightful place"
This is a most attractive thatched cottage in one of England's prettiest villages. Breakfast was superb. The room was really comfortable and the bathroom beautifully fitted out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We also enjoyed the Morris dancing at the nearby pub where we went for dinner.

"Keep returning so must be doing something right"
Another stay in this beautiful cottage set in a charming village owned by an equally charming couple, mike and Janet. You certainly save money when you have had the breakfast as you do not want anything else to eat until the evening!
The accommodation is superb with everything that you need. Janet and mike make their home feel like your own.
Have been six times now and cannot wait till next stay.

"Beautiful cottage and location, wonderful breakfasts and lovely people, what more could you ask for"
Beautiful cottage and location, wonderful breakfasts and lovely people, what more could you ask for.
We were made to feel so welcome. It was like visiting family that you've not seen for a while.

"An idyllic cottage and lovely hosts"
We had an idyllic weekend at Stream Cottage - it's a really beautiful old thatch cottage that's been very tastefully renovated to be incredibly comfortable and a retreat from city life. Mike and Janet were perfect B&B hosts - they told us about the local area, lent us walking maps, made delicious breakfasts (there's a great breakfast menu to choose from the night before) and even made me hot lemon and honey to ward off a bad cough I arrived with. We left completely refreshed but reluctant to leave!
