Home description
This is a beautiful new luxury house with stunning sea and mountain views. Betlem is a perfect place for a relaxing stress free holiday in beautiful surroundings. From the veranda of the house, to the left there are beautiful sea views over alcudia bay and to the right stunning mountain scenery. The house has gardens to the front and back with many mature plants and shrubs. The back garden overlooks the large 20 metre swimming pool. The beach, many coves and the sea are a 3 minute walk away and provide many safe places to swim and snorkel. If you're feeling energetic there is a private tennis court, coastal and hill walking, bike trails, water sports and yacht / boat hire. There is a small park for children on site with swings and slides. There is a local shop with fresh bread and milk each morning. For dining out, there are 2 excellent restaurants, Es calo and Casablanca. This is a lovely, safe unspoilt region of Mallorca, that provides an excellent location for a family holiday or couples looking for a getaway holiday. For large groups we can arrange hire of adjacent villas.

The Mallorca/Majorca region
Mallorca has an excellent climate from March to early Novemeber. In July and August expect temperatures of up to 30 degrees. There are hundreds of fantastic beaches and rocky coves to explore. Sailing is very popular. There are excellent mountain and cliff walks. Palma is a beautiful city which is worth exploring.
For the sportsman there is now a choice of 27 golf courses.
Arta / Betlem area
Betlem is a small village that borders the sea and spectacular mountains. It has 2 excellent restaurants/bars which serve excellent food. Neighbouring Colonia St Pere (3km away) has over 22 restaurants along a beautiful sea-front promenade, a large marina and a pleasant beach. There are a number of shops, banks and a pharmacy here.
The large Roman town of Arta is 9km away with its hilltop church, fortress and an excellent Tuesday market. There are several golf courses nearby, including Capdepera, Canyamel, Pula and Alcanada.
The area makes an excellent base for activities such as golf, cycling or exploring the local coastal paths.
There are several places of interest within easy reach and numerous beaches in Alucdia, Cala Rajada, Porto Cristo. The Caves of Drach are a 20 minute drive.
How to get there
Regular flights to Palma on a number of different airlines. From the UK, Easyjet, BMI baby, Thomsonfly and Ryanair fly during both winter and summer months. From Palma airport take the MA-15 motorway to Manacor, then Arta. Head for Alcudia, the turning for Betlem is 8km from Arta on the right. For a detailed map see our website www.mallorca-villas.net.
