There are many restaurants serving regional dishes within a 10 minute drive and the local village of San Llorenc has a post office, bakers, mini market, butchers banks and a weekly market.
The quiet lanes around the property are ideal for walking/cycling and the coast is within easy reach. The new dual carriageway from Palma has now made access to this part of the Island even easier.

The spacious single storey property is furnished as a private home and not just as a rental property so you can expect all home comforts. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. The large lounge ( 50 sq meters) has two sofas and a fully sprung sofa bed.
There is a TV with satellite offering English Channels and DVD and CD player. The dining area can comfortably seat 6 and has a door opening onto the covered terrace.
There are 2 double bedrooms and one with twin beds. The master bedroom has air conditioning and the others have either floor or ceiling fans. The main bathroom has a bath, separate shower and twin basins. There is a further shower room accessed from Bedroom 2.
The house has double glazing and underfloor heating for extra comfort during the winter months.

The property is 1 km from the main Arta San Llorenc road and has private access via electronic gates. The last 150 meters is unmade and rather bumpy but perfectly accessible. A gravel drive bordered by palms leads up to the house.
There is a 8.5 x 4.5 meter pool with spotlights and shower. A BBQ and Gas Paella Dish are available for the use of guests. Garden furniture for relaxing by the pool is also provided.
A cot and high chair are available for the use of babies and a welcome pack can be provided at extra cost.
The property can sleep 8 people if using the sofa bed although an extra charge will then be payable to cover the cost of laundry and preparation.
The Mallorca/Majorca region
Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands and is an all year round destination suitable for all ages. Golf, Cycling and Walking holidays are eternally popular and there are many places of interest to visit such as museums, art galleries, castles, caves and even a mini safari park.
The Island's Capital, Palma is a delight with colourful markets a magnificent Cathedral overlooking the glamorous harbour and ancient architecture to be found whilst wandering through the maze of tiny streets and tapas bars.
There are numerous beaches to explore either by boat or car and no shortage of sightseeing trips.
One of the most famous is the train journey between Palma and Soller through orange groves and the Tramuntana mountain range to the pretty little town and Port of Soller, the latter is reached by tram. The caves of Drach just outside Porto Cristo on the East coast are also worth a look.
The weekly markets at Inca and Puerta Andraitx can also be entertaining.
The area around the house has plenty to offer with fine sandy beaches at Cala Millor, Sa Coma and Cala Agulla being some of the most popular whilst those at Son Serra de Marina and the area around Betlem offering quieter alternatives.
The Tuesday market at Arta a gem of a town 7 kms away should not be missed. Dining out in either Arta or Son Servera is an enjoyable experience with a range of choices available from small family run bars and cafes to the gourmet restaurants, the local agroturismos and small boutique hotels that throw open their doors to non - residents for fine dining in elegant surroundings.
There is also plenty of scope for a cheap and cheerful menu del dia or a quick good value pizza. Something to suit all tastes and all pockets is available locally. There is even a Michelin starred restaurant in San LLorenc.
The Castle at Capdepera and the Sanctuari in Arta offer spectacular views over the coast and country landscape.
Inca can be reached by train from Manacor and a trip to Menorca is possible from the nearby Port of Cala Ratjada.
