Sa Font Calenta has been designed with comfort in mind, you wont find Ikea here! Down and feather pillows, Sealy mattresses and the best linen and towels all help you rest well and enjoy your holiday.

The gardens surrounding the house are sympathetically landscaped to encompass the natural stone and the wide variety of trees. Carefully positioned spotlights light up the gardens and house at night and the large covered pool terrace with its outside kitchen, dining and lounge seating may mean you only go inside to sleep! Outdoor living at its very best!

The Mallorca/Majorca region
Majorca or Mallorca is the largest of the three Balearic Islands and is about 100 kilometers long and about 75 kilometres at its widest point.
The islands mild winters (average 15C/59F) and warm summers (average 27C/85F) explain its popularity and make this the perfect place for sailing, watersports, golf, walking and cycling. Majorca has something for all ages with plenty of historical places of interest, excellent shopping and unspoiled beaches.
The Arta area
The town of Arta lies in the middle of a large wide valley at the foot of a small hill, overlooked by the walled precincts of Sant Salvador and by the Gothic church. The town has a permanent population of approximately 5,000. One should make a point of visiting the old quarter, dominated by the courts and mansions that at one time belonged to the lords of the country estates.
At the same time, the fact that the town has not directly received the impact of tourism has meant that old traditions have survived. Drinking and shopping are on the menu in Arta, true Mallorca style. Tuesday is market day or go to C/Antoni Blands and C/Ciutat which is a large pedestrian street crammed with restaurants, bars and lots of shops.
The Arta coastline still preserves its natural state and has been protected from development
Located on the North East side of the island, Arta benefits from a recently completed motorway route that links Palma to St Lorenc.

Many airlines, including budget, fly several flights daily to Palma. EasyJet from Gatwick, FlyBe from Southampton, BMI and BA from Heathrow to name just a few!
We usually book with EasyJet and also book car hire via them for special deals with Europcar.
The journey from the Airport takes approximately 50 minutes, a new motorway makes the North East very accessible.

We travelled to Majorca with my sister and brother in law and five children between us aged 3 to 9 years. The house is brilliantly laid out for families to share - three ensuite bathrooms plus shower room plus downstairs loo meant no hassle over bathing/showering two families. The kitchen is very well equipped with ample cups and plates etc for children, good quality utensils (often lacking in villa rentals) and smart tableware for adults. The large fridge plus wine fridge meant no sacrificing chilled wine/beer/water for food and the two large dining areas meant we could breakfast and lunch near the house but enjoy a change of scene in the evening and eat by the pool. Arta is a fabulous little town with lots to see and do and a great choice of restaurants, and it is also a good base from which to explore the northern and eastern parts of Majorca. The owners have thoughtfully provided a comprehensive guide to the area which we consulted often. We had a more fun and relaxing holiday than I would have thought possible with five fairly young children and we will definitely be going back! |

it is not often that a holiday villa is as good as the description......well i have to say the owners have done an incredible job of under selling this one!! it is absolutely incredible. the accommodation is enormous, the finish and fittings are of the highest quality. i have stayed in many 5* hotels and even a 7* hotel in australia, this place tops the lot. the owners have missed nothing, spared no expense, designed it perfectly but have done it in away that allows you to relax and enjoy the property without worrying about touching things. all villa owners could and should learn a thing or two from these guys, they have raised the bar. truly in credible, book it, you wont regret it. sean of southampton |

A security deposit of £750 is required and will be refunded in full within 2 weeks of your departure, upon satisfactory check-out (normal wear and tear excepted) no pets, no smoking.
Payment is made in GBP or by Euros ( at the exchange rate at time of confirmation)
Rental periods are generally from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am.
