The house is fully equipped with every facility and has been superbly decorated and furnished. There are three double rooms with double beds and two rooms with twin beds. One en-suite bathroom downstairs and three other bathrooms including an house bathroom on the ground floor. Excellent kitchen with everything for the enthusiastic chef. The laundry has all the necessary washing and drying equipment plus another large fridge. The drawing room is large and airy, the dining table inside seats 12. The interior decor of the house attracts many superb comments. Outside is the large pool surrounded by lovely terraces including a large ,wonderful covered dining terrace with excellent BBQ. There is plenty of shade and plenty of garden furniture.

Every care has been put into this beautifully decorated house. The kitchen has been expertly equipped and has plenty of cutlery, glasses, crockery and cooking utensils. All the linen is included. There are very effective fans in the bedrooms and it has full central heating plus a log fire in the drawing room for the winter time.The house is large and spacious and has a lovely first floor covered balcony overlooking the swimming terraces. The interior is cool in summer. All the rooms have lovely views and everywhere is light and airy. There is plenty of lighting - both inside and out ,comfy chairs and sofas and plenty of sunloungers, umbrellas and outside seating. The dining terrace outside is a particular feature overlooking the orange grove. The grounds are large and safe with an electric gate at the top of the driveway.

The house is set in 2 acres, 1km outside Arta and is landscaped around the house with shrubs, trees and a pergola running all round the property with climbing roses, passion flowers,wisteria and bouganvilla. It is approached via electric gates and then down a long drive with the fields on either side. There is a car port for two cars. At the rear of the property there are paved sun terraces overlooking the pool, with a covered pergola running the entire width providing shade and a comfortable seating area. The covered dining terrace has a table seating 12 or more with large Morracan lanterns and side lights . All the terrace is lit at night. Al large BBQ is available with a spit roaster. There is a large full-width furnished balcony on the first floor. The swimming pool and grounds are beautifully maintained and even though the house is only 1km from Arta, it is secluded and wonderfully peaceful.
Further details
The arrival dates are flexible and we are not tied to one specific changeover day. You will be met by our housekeeper on arrival and again when you leave. A welcome pack is provided and we can add any other essentials you may require on request. The house is completely private and secure. The swimming pool is checked a few times a week and cleaned once a week. The cleanliness of the pool is of the highest importance to us. We provide a weekly clean of the house, plus a change of linen and the final clean is included in the price. There is information provided about local restaurants and attractions, beaches, sporting venues (including golf courses) medical facilities and shops. Maps are available of the island.
Conditions
A 20% deposit is required on booking and the balance is due 2 months proir to departure. A booking form will be posted as soon as the dates for rental have been approved. A security cheque is also required and will be returned after your departure and upon inspection of the property. There is strictly no smoking in the house. The ground floor is wheelchair friendly and has one en suite double bedroom and another double bedroom and house bathroom.

Arta is a very beautiful town in the NE region of Mallorca. There is a Monastery and Church on top of the hill overlooking the town with incredible panaromic views. It has sophistication and rustic charm and the surrounding countryside varies from pasture land ,exceptional beaches and then the mountains to the North. Walking the various trails is a pleasure. Four excellent golf courses are within easy reach as are tennis clubs, riding schools and sailing clubs. Very near Arta are the extraordinary underground caves which have guided tours, there are various interesting historical sites all over the NE. Exploring the area by car is easy and local buses travel between Arta and Palma every day. All the coastal towns nearby have something to offer and there are very busy harbours to the north and south. The climate is exceptional with the added bonus of sea breezes to cool the summer months.
The Arta area
Arta is a town which is 'open all year round'. It has a thriving community with a large market every Tuesday. The restaurants are excellent, catering for all tastes and all pockets. There are several Festivals every year, the largest one being at the beginning of August. The Theatre has excellent productions and the Festival in the nearby town of Capdepera is wonderful at the end of August. The caves are a must and there are some more in Porto Cristo further down the coast. The trotting races at Manacor are spectacular and well worth a visit. It is a very interesting area which has been unspoiled by tourism with any building work coming under strict regulations.

All budget airlines fly to Palma Airport and some operate a year round service. The flight is approximately 2hours from England. We can suggest certain car hire companies on booking who will meet you in the Airport Terminal. We can provide details of taxi companies which will very easily transport you to the house. There is a train from Palma (requires a taxi from the airport to the station in Palma) to Manacor which is 20 kms from Arta where the house is situated. It is a very easy 50 minute journey from the Airport to the house by car and a 1hour journey from the station in Palma to Manacor.

A stunning property which has had great care and attention to provide a lovely, comfortable and peaceful holiday.
Great thought has been put into the house for guests and instantly we felt we were in a very welcoming home.
The interior decor is superb and the kitchen is a masterpiece!
A lovely family house which we will visit time and time again. The pool is superb and children loved playing in the grounds. We felt very safe and secure. It will be a lovely house to stay in winter. Magical qualities.
