In January to April the weather can be quiet mild with some bursts of sunshine.
The climate from May to October is generally warm with average temperatures of 20-25 degrees centigrade. In July & August you can expect temperatures to be 30+ degrees.
The Arta / Betlem area
Betlem is a wonderful romantic away from it all place in the northeast of the island with the most stunning scenery. The house is tucked away close to the sea and mountains. The coastline is rugged with pretty little coves to explore. There are plenty of coastal paths, ideal for walking. You may well fancy a walk along this beautiful coastline or up and across the mountains to the Betlem Hermitage.
Betlem itself is a quiet place ideal for those who want to get away from it all and relax. The amenities in the area consist of a small bakery and two bars/restaurants. A short 5 minute drive away and you come to the small town of Colonia de Sant Pere with all the amenities you require such as Banks, Pharmacy and Supermarket. The town has a nice sandy beach ideal for swimming, a nice promenade with restaurants and bars as well as a small marina.

Fly to Palma Airport, Then take the C715 heading towards Manacor. Stay on the C715 until you reach Arta, then take the C712 to Alcudia. Whilst driving along the C712 look out for a sign for Colonia St. Pere. Turn right Heading towards Colonia St. Pere and continue along the road until you reach a sharp bend in the road with a sign to Betlem. Further instructions will be supplied with your booking confirmation.

We all want to thank you and your wife Sally-Ann for a wonderful holiday in your lovely house in Betlem. We had a very nice time there! It was a beautiful surrounding, it was also quiet and our two children Nick and Johannes liked swimming in the pool and playing tennis. We made a lot of trips and we have seen the most highlights of this island. Our holiday was really fantastic!!! Thanks a lot again and have a good time!

Great House in Betlem!
We had a great time in your house and Betlem seems to be one of the best places to be in -Mountains and sea in a great combination.We did some small trips almost everyday and really enjoyed to come home to the not so crowded Betlem.The front yard was huge for our one year child and he took his first step there.
Thank you very much - Hopefully we will come back to Betlem, and your lovely house.

'I just wanted to write and let you know what a superb holiday we had in your wonderful house in Betlem.
The house is finished to a very high standard and we had everything we needed - and more. The set up of the villas around the private pool was perfect and the children spent most of the holiday in the water. The weather and area were all fantastic, it really couldn't have been any better.
We were away for the two weeks of the Beijing Olympics and expected to miss it all, returning for the closing ceremony. However the UK satelite TV was an unexpected bonus so we could even keep track of this too!!'
