The Lanzarote region
Lanzarote is an island that offers many attractions to all those who visit it. Besides a marvellous temperature all the year round and of a few attractive beaches there are many places of interest to visit. The Mountains of Fire in Timanfaya's National Park, the Viewing-point of the Rio, The Castle of San Jose, The Museum to the Peasant, The Cactus Garden...A lot of exciting and well organized visits to enjoy.
Lanzarote's north part, where is Punta Mujeres, is the calmest and separated of the tourism of masses. The communication with the rest of the island is easy by good roads and without exhausting traffic.
The annual average temperature in Lanzarote is 22 centigrade degrees, with minims of 18 and maxims of 26. The temperature of the sea´s water is also very stable ranging between 17 and 25 centigrade degrees.
Arrieta / Punta Mujeres area
Near Villa RocaMar you will find comfortable steps with direct access to the sea and some natural pools. In a distance of 1 Kms. is situated “La Garita”, a fantastic and sure beach of white sand.
In the village there are various supermarkets at your disposition. In the restaurants you can taste fresh fish and typical local food.
Very close to Punta Mujeres you can visit some of the main attractions of Lanzarote, like Los Jameos del Agua , La Cueva de los Verdes and El Jardín de Cactus.
A few kilometres northern, in Orzola, departs various times a day the ferry to the neighbour island La Graciosa.

The Lanzarote´s airport , Arrecife, is at 27 Kms. from Punta Mujeres. Further details indoors: Villa RocaMar is set over 3 floors: Main floor: lounge - dining room, kitchen, 1 bathroom with shower and large patio doors to the porch and to the swimming pool. First floor: 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with two single beds, 1 bathroom with shower cabin. Basement: large tv-room, children play area with a lot of toys and entertainments for the children and two single beds.In the high floor there is a terrace to enjoy the last drink in the moonlight . You will fall asleep with the lullaby of the sea. In the heated swimming pool area there are comfortable sunbeds and a barbecue. In the porch there are armchairs and a dining area to enjoy all the year round.
Further details outdoors: At the end of the swimming pool there is a door to direct access to the sea´s promenade. If you are fond of fishing we can facilitate a cane and his accessories.
