This unique luxury 28 meter Eco Yurt sleeps up to 4 guests and comes with its own shower room and covered kitchen. It has been tastefully styled with original handpicked hard wood Mongolian furniture. This Yurt is from Mongolia where they live in this form of 'house' throughout the year, it is fitted with Marble flooring and decorated with luxury fabrics and furnishings. The yurts shower room has been styled with a walk in shower and free standing Marble sink. It's covered fully fitted kitchen has a breakfast bar with granite work top and overlooks the yurts decked terrace area with teak garden furniture. This south facing patio is fenced and gated and perfect for relaxing on the sun loungers catching some sunshine, or for having a barbeque and enjoy some al fresco dining. The yurt is placed at the retreat of "Finca de Arrieta" and it's guests have full use of the of the solar heated 10 meter long pool and chill out area with second kitchen and shower room.

The Lanzarote region
Lanzarote off the northwestern coast of Africa is blessed with abundant year round sunshine, cooling trade winds, volcanic peaks and stunning child friendly beaches ranging from fine white sand to black volcanic sand. The Island is 37 miles long and 20 wide it is a perfect year round destination for sun seekers and water sports enthusiasts. There is a wealth of things to do on Lanzarote from spectacular sight seeing to diving, snorkeling, windsurf, kite surf and surf etc... Arrieta Village is about 10 minutes walk from the estate, at the end of the beach. It is a traditional fishing village, and has become well know for its sea front fish restaurants and its quaint canarian feel. The village also offers a diving school, coffee shops, supermarket, Pizza take away, beach bar, numerous restaurants etc... The restaurants are open everyday from Noon until 9pm and do get booked up for the weekend lunches so it is always best to book a table!!
Arrieta area
Attractions within 10 Min's drive include the Cactus Garden, Mirador del Rio, Green Caves, Bird Park and the Valley of a Thousand Palms. In The mountain village of Haria there is a Saturday morning local craft market here you can see various craft men at work. The village of Arrieta boasts one of the best al round beaches on the island which has a tapas beach bar and restaurant, toilets and shower facilities. This is a stunning location to enjoy the unusual black sands and the scenic mountain landscape of rural Lanzarote. The historic village of Teguise, where you can take a stroll through the meandering lanes and watch local artists at work or visit the Sunday Market, is a 15 min drive. The island's capital is 30 minutes drive, where the airport is located. The island's only 18 hole golf course, situated in Costa Teguise, is a 15 min drive away.

You are able to take a Taxi from the airport or we can arrange a VIP pick up which includes a bottle sparkling wine so you arrive in style at your villa. We can also arrange car hire for you & can send you detailed directions. If you have any problem en-route then just call!! The house is approx 30 mins drive fromthe airport.

Further details indoors: The Eco Yurt is fitted with a large double bed (160cm) and its living area includes, seating, a stereo and floor lighting. As these yurts are used in Mongolia as full time living accommodation and are draft free, snug and extremely comfortable. Its interior temperature stays at comfortable level and being 28 meters it is very spacious. There are low consuming electric lights and plug sockets. Although this is an eco accommodation and electric appliances are not supplied as standard if there are any extras you will require for your stay such as a microwave or hand blender please let me know and it will be arranged for your arrival.
Further details outdoors: The 30,000 meter retreat is partly walled using local stones from the land it has a children’s play area which includes children’s play park, sand football pitch, trampoline, a games room with table tennis, mountain bikes/surf boards/body boards/hammocks and a variety of games. There are also a number of friendly farm animals such as bunnies and the resident Donkey “Mollie” who will happily provide rides for our younger visitors. The yurt has its own wood deck south facing terrace, sea views, sun loungers, BBQ, and teak garden dining set . There is a spacious additional shared pool area which has the covered chill out area. This fabulous location over looking the beach just a two minute walk to the sea in the north of the island. The estate runs on wind and solar power and is a unique example of sustainable living. There are 30 solar panels, batteries and 2 large windmills. This rural location is a perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in the country with the beauty of being next to the beach. There is also an added bonus of farm eggs every morning from our free range hens. This area of Lanzarote is fantastic for walking/mountain biking etc. Or maybe you just want to relax and read a good book next to the pool in peaceful surroundings.

Eco Yurt, We had a wonderful relaxing break staying in the yurt in March 2009. Michelle and Tila are fantastic hosts and made us feel really welcome, along with their lovely kids. The Finca is very chilled with some beautiful beaches very close by (definitely recommend a car). One of our highlights has to be lying in bed with the door open looking out to sea! The Yurt at Finca de Arrieta is wonderful. We had a relaxing week enjoying the sun, relaxing by the pool and walking to the beach and nearby fishing village. There were also great local restaurants. The yurt is really comfortable and well equipped and Michelle and her family did everything to make us feel welcome and helped recommend places to visit. We would definitely go again

We had a very pleasant and delightful week in september in the yurte , just a short walk away from the beach. Inside, the yurte was so elegant, beautiful colours and full of luxury, very comfortable.
