The Lanzarote region
Lanzarote is the most easterly of the Canary Islands. The island is 60km/37.5 miles from north to south and 25km / 15 miles from west to east. Situated just 125 km off the island of Africa, is the reason that Lanzarote boasts an extraordinarily stable climate and high temperatures throughout the year.
For this reason it is the ideal all year round destination, and suitable to families with small children who do not want to face long haul flights. There are an abundance of attractions for children of all ages including theme and water parks, tennis, horse riding, day-trips to Fuerteventura and Graciosa.
The still glassy blue waters are great for snorkelling, diving, fishing. The island is so versatile that is offers excellent conditions for nearly all types of water sports including surfing, windsurfing, sailing, kite surfing, paragliding, water-skiing all for beginners and experienced levels.
The Tourist destinations of Costa Teguise and Puerto del Carmen offer a variety of shops home to local artisan crafts perfect for that special gift for someone back home, as well as some of the popular and well known retail high street shops that you would find back home. (e.g. Zara and Mango). All at more affordable prices than those that found in the UK! Perfect for a little retail therapy. Arrieta / Charco Del Palo area
Discover the delights of beautiful untouched wild volcanic village of Charco Del Palo on the north eastern coastline. This lively but traditional village is very convenient and boasts several bars, and recommended restaurants, where locals and international residents frequent daily to enjoy great quality and priced traditional tapas, and locally prepared dishes, beers and wines. There is always a good selection of well known home from home offerings for children or the less adventurous eater. A good supermarket, Not to mention fishing, snorkelling, rock pooling, guided mountainous walks, cycling, PADI diving, snorkelling and so on...
Charco Del Palo sits alongside the popular beachside village of Arrieta, one of the greatest beaches on the island. Perfect for beginners surfing and for the children to splash around in the waves. The beach cafe is renowned for great food and wine in a relaxing and ambient setting. There is new swings and play area for children right by the tables, perfect for families with small children who need some extra entertaining during their mealtimes.
Further north along the coastline you can experience the private white sandy beaches, and several of Lanzarote's famous attractions such as Jameos Del Agua, Mirador del Rio, Cuevas de los Verdes, Cactus Gardens in Guatiza. May we also recommend dining with the locals at the Sociedad in Guatiza for amazing steaks and traditional tapas dishes.

New for 2009, this lovely Villa situated in beautiful gardens in the peaceful seaside village of Charco del Palo where naturists and non-naturists live happily side by side. A perfect relaxing getaway for 2-4 persons, Charco del Palo is within easy reach of Arrecife airport only 20 mins by car. Here are some suggestions below for help with flights and car hire. Below you will find a list of the ones we use regularly which offer cheap flights all year round and from a good selection of airports in the north and south. Please don't hesitate to ask us for help if you are struggling to find a reasonably price flight.

Further details outdoors: The complex is quiet and not full and the pool is heated all year round. The gardens are green and mature and provide a beautiful background setting against the wild volcanic views of the mountains and naturally forming rock pools perfectly safe for swimming in just minutes away by foot.
Outside the front you have a lovely terrace where you can BBQ, watch the children swimming or sit and enjoy a glass of wine.
The sun all day in the front terrace and in the rear terrace with mountain views in the afternoon and evening until sunset.

If you are arriving late we can arrange for some essential groceries to be waiting at the villa. We can organise this with you personally to ensure that you have all your favourite goodies, and you can reimburse us during your stay.
If you need further equipment for your children please do not hesitate to ask as we have a large selection of equipment that you can borrow for your stay. Please just ask.
Conditions
If you need something that is not listed, no matter how small or silly, please just ask. If we have one you can borrow it, if we don't we will do our best to source it as cheaply as possible for you.
If you like the sound of the place or the weeks that you want are already booked, please do not hesitate to send us a request anyway. We know a lot of people with lovely properties on the island, and we maybe able to find something else to suit.
A mid-stay clean and bed change can be organised for a two week booking at a price of €100. Similarly, an exit clean can be offered upon request for €100.
If you have any problems finding reasonable flights or car-hire, please do not hesitate to contact as we have a lot of contacts and travel frequently to and from the Island and maybe be able to help you find something.
