About the home

Our property is a modern new flat, designed by a young architect. It is well appointed with all mod cons. The terrace and penthouse flat are great fun, with a clear view on all sides of unspoilt countryside.

The property is a five minute drive from the centre of Calungute and Baga. All told, this is a great flat for a group of 6 or 8 persons on holiday. A bargain.

Very briefly here are the highlights: Floors with vitrified tiles, large windows, modern furniture, curtains, cupboards, a safe, a bar, modern fully equipped kitchen with cooking range, large fridge-freezer, washing machine, large 50 inch flat screen tv on the wall.
Bathrooms with new fittings. Linen and towels. Maid service included. The penthouse has a built-in double bed, skylight with downward facing mirrors above bed, built-in study, storage space, kitchenette with a small fridge. Two sliding doors lead on to the terrace where there are plants, garden furniture and an outdoor shower. You can have broad band internet access via an internet modem that you can buy easily.

The swimming pool is under construction and will be ready soon. Meanwhile, there is a fine, boutique, four star hotel with a lovely pool and restaurant in walking distance. The name of the hotel is Presa di Goa. The hotel owner is happy to allow our guests to use the pool if you also lunch there. The food is great and the pool and garden are lovely.

The swimming pool construction was halted in the summer (monson ) months. it will be completed in the new year.

Conditions

25% non refundable deposit by wire transfer or Paypal to make booking. Remainder payable one month before starting date. Hence full payment one month before start of holiday. Not refundable in case of cancellation less than one month before stay. Refundable caution money against breakages of 300 pounds sterling to be paid at the time of check in. Rental price does not include price of electricity, which will be paid according to consumption, by the meter reading, at cost price, at the end of the stay, or deducted from the caution money. If you do not use the five airconditioners all night, the electricity bill will be minor. Payment can be made by Paypal or wire transfer to India or to the UK. We will be happy to adjust the price for certain periods and for smaller parties.

The Goa / West India / Goa region

Goa is a lovely place for a holiday, with a gorgeous climate.
It has plenty of lush vegetation and some sensational wildlife.

It's beaches are incredible, with swaying palm trees and crystal clear waters. The most famous are in Baga Beach, a five minute drive from the property. Relax on the beach, take part in some exciting water sports or spend some quality time with your family and friends.

There is plenty to do in Goa. You can visit the vanilla scented spice plantation or go and experience the incredible architecture of the cathedrals.

There is a lively night life, with many clubs, restaurants and bars, so immerse yourself in the Goa culture.

The Arpora area

The beaches and night life of Baga are a five minute scooter ride away. Hence the property is at the right distance from this excitement: not too far but not too near either !

Arpora has two all night markets in the winter season, on Saturday nights. One is by a lakeside, with glittering lights, music and much merry-making.

Nagoa village, in which the property is situated, has a nice modern cyber café, some shops and a famous boutique hotel, called the Presa di Goa, with a fine restaurant and pool, which you can use.
