The Goa region

Red hot all year, though monsoon season is from early May to end of October.

The food in Goa is unbelievable and very cheap - some of my best meals have been here! The choice ranges from Indian to Chinese to French to absolutely anything you want and is delicious.
There are plent of day trips available and most taxi drivers will take you to a variety of beaches so you get a good selection.

Arpora area

Baga beach is approx 1km away ( a 10min stroll, same way to nightlife), this way you pass the bars and restaurants into the main road of baga then down to the beach. Calangute is 10 min stroll the other way, there is less to see this way until you get to the busy Calangute town and main road. You can walk down the river to the beach but this way is approx 30 mins winding around with the river - or taxis are always available if you dont fancy the walk!!

There are also some very popular markets nearby, with music and a huge variety of exotic bargain goods.

The night life is good in goa, and after the clubs and discos close every one goes to the beach for the 24Hr service, you can either have a nice meal with a few drinks or hit the bars and get back as early as you want (in the morning i mean!)

There is plenty to see and do Goa. The standard of living is very very cheap, relax and watch elephants walk down the road and monkeys sitting on walls whilst having a bottle of kingfisher!

How to get there

Flights From manchester, Birmingham & London gatwick and now East midlands (Direct flights)
there are many cheap flight places but most vary so have a good look.
The flight is 9.5 Hrs.
A taxi from airport to the apartment takes about 45mins and costs roughly £6-£8 each way;
I have taxi numbers and this can be arranged for you for as extra if you wish.

The kitchen has granite work tops and includes all essential cooking equipment (if desired). The double bed has 2 bedsides and wardrobe, and the dining area has a table with 4 chairs. There is also a coffee table, bed settee. An iron and a hair dryer are also included.

The poolside restaurant is very cheap, the property is gated and security-patrolled 24hrs.

There Was a brand new development (2006) in Arpora with restaurants and a supermarket 2 mins walk away. The apartment is within walking distance of Baga and Calangute.

Price includes, the apartment to be all ready, beds freshly made & clean towels, The apartment will be cleaned after your departure, and once weekly, there are a sufficent ammount of towels there, extra days cleaning can be arranged at an extra, low cost.

Basic food items can be placed in your apartment depending on your requirments as an extra.
