Home description
Escape from the fast pace of life at home and come to our gite to experience peace, tranquillity and complete relaxation. The gite sleeps six people comfortably and has all the comforts of home. Situated in a quiet hamlet with magnificent views, you will forget time. Relax under the willow tree at the private lake, which is surrounded by natural wildlife, mature trees, wild flowers and fruit trees. Pick your own apricots, plums and berries in the summer or alternatively collect chestnuts to roast on the open fire in October.
Bring your cycle or walking boots and explore many of the quiet country lanes. Take an early morning stroll to the local patisserie for freshly baked 'croissants' or 'pain du raisins', or cycle down to the local restaurant for lunch and enjoy a six course french cuisine meal, including wine, for only 10 euros a head. In the evening BBQ by the lake and watch the sky become illuminated with stars.
PLEASE NOTE. ANY BOOKING MADE WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF ENQUIRY WILL RECEIVE AN EXTRA 5% DISCOUNT OF TOTAL RENTAL AND FREE FISHING AT THE LAKE.

The neighbouring village, Aron has the remains of a feudal castle. There are also a wonderful parkland ’Parc des Forges’, offering magnificent trees, a 30 acre lake for fishing, mini golf built in the moat of the old castle and art exhibitions in the summer period. Guestbook for Chappelle Au Riboul
First Impression was 'wow... exactly what I'd hoped for. Rural, remote, quiet! It was a great week - really really good. I actually lost track of the days whilst there, I was so relaxed! I shall be highly recommending it to all those who've been asking about it here. I will definitely be back. Hope it goes well for you both. Wish I could stay longer Lorraine Sowden October 2005
Having never tasted the tranquillity and natural beauties of France we were both taken about by surprise at the extent of the dish that was about to be served Sept 05 Sharon & Ian Ayres
We've had a really relaxing two weeks. Read a whole lot of books, listened to music and slept like logs - even the insomniac one ! Thank you both for the opportunity to explore this beautiful countryside. John & Sue Frazer - June 2005
