About the home

This luxurious two bedroom penthouse is located in a quiet area of Armcaco de Pera but is only moments away from the town centre. The beach is called Pria Grande and is the longest beach in the Algarve and links up to Albufeira 5 kms away.

This apartment is only a 10 minute drive to the larger resorts of the Algarve such as Albufeira, Olhos de Agua. The apartment is only moments away from the local supermarkets and a wide variety of restaurants, bars and cafes all offering excellent food and cold drinks. This apartment has a roof top pool and sun deck area with stunning views of the sea and surrounding hills. The apartment has air conditioning TV, DVD player and a fully fitted kitchen also one bedroom has twin beds and the other a double bed.

Conditions

A refundable breakages deposit required on entry of £200 refunded on exit. A deposit of 30% required on booking and the balance paid 8 weeks before arrival payment can be by credit/debit card or bank transfer.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The alagarve boasts over 100 miles of golden sandy beaches and the most beautiful in Europe.Theses beaches have been awarded the blue flag of Europe for the cleanliest of the beach and water.The larger beaches have lifeguard patrols through out the summer months and have bars ,restaurants serving excellent food and cold drinks.The beaches are free to use apart from a small charge when hiring the sun-loungers and parasols and they offer all water sports.The algarve is also known for its weather which is good for over 300 days a year giving plenty of sunshine.The Romans and moors have had a heavy influence in the design and building of a lot of the Algarvian cities some dating back to 2000BC.There still unspoilt fishing villages dotted along the coastline giving you a warm welcome where you can try the fresh fish caught that day.

The Armacao de Pera / Quinta dos Arcos area

Armacao de pera is a city of two halves one being the traditional fishing village with its fish market stalls and its quaint houses.The fishermen can be seen fixing their nets daily on the beach and launching their boats to catch
fresh fish for the local supermarkets and restaurants.The village has cobbled streets and typical cafes,bars and restaurants serving traditional foods and drinks.The newer part of Armacao de pera blends in well with its ultra modern apartments and villas offering the vast array of international restaurants from around the world.

The beach in the town is the longest in the Algarve stretching over 5 kms and linking with Albufeiras fisherman's beach.The village has a number of supermarkets one being 600 metres from the apartment and banks and cash points.The apartment is very close to cafes,bars and restaurants with a health centre closeby.
The famous Zoo Marine with its interactive dolphins(for a extra charge cyou can swim with them)and live animal shows and water slides open from march to october 7 days a week closing at 9.00pm daily.
The village of pera is known for its sand festival which is held every year dictating a different theme to design in sand.The festival attracts artists from around the world to take part designing sand sculptures some two storeys tall.This festival is open from june to october open 7 days a week closing at 10..00 pm daily.The marina of Albufeira has daily boat trips leaving the harbour for fishing,dolphin watching or just cruising the Algarve coastline.There is a shopping centre called the Algarve shopping centre is a short drive away and there is a cinmea (with english spoken films)and also restaurants and over 100 shops.The nearest big town is Albufeira a short taxi ride away, which has golden sandy beaches but is better known for its famous strip with night clubs,bars and restaurants from around the world.
