This is a modern, spacious 2 bedroom/2 bathroom 5th (top) floor apartment located in the centre of Armação de Pêra, a bustling resort situated between Albufeira and Carvoeiro. It is only a 5 minute walk from the beautiful sandy beach stretching as far as the eye can see.
The apartment has been comfortably furnished and is well equipped, making it ideal for a self-catering holiday. It has air conditioning/heating throughout. The apartment is serviced by a lift and has a phone entry system. There is a private underground secure parking space in addition to plenty of parking spaces near to the block.
There is a shared pool, children’s pool and outside shower.
Within a few minutes walk of the apartment you will find most amenities including a good supermarket, banks, cash points, internet facility, shops, bars and restaurants.
If you don’t wish to hire a car and want to be within easy walking distance of all amenities and the beach then this is a great location for you.

The apartment is located on the 5th (top) floor and is serviced by a lift. There is a phone entry system. It is bright and spacious and has been tastefully furnished. The lounge and kitchen share one long balcony which overlooks the pool and the 2 bedrooms share the other. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. One bathroom has a bath/shower, toilet, sink and bidet and the the other has a shower, toilet, sink and bidet. The kitchen is fully equipped for a self-catering holiday. The lounge has been furnished with 2 comfortable sofas and a coffee table. There is satellite TV with the free to air channels and DVD for entertainment.

The apartment has 2 long balconies and patio chairs and tables are provided.
There is a good-size shared pool and a children's pool. 2 sunbeds for the sole use of the apartment are left in the pool area. There is also an outside shower.
If you have a car then there is a private underground secure parking space as well as plenty of spaces outside the apartment block.
Further details
Maid Service is once a week. Linen and towels are provided and are changed weekly.
Please bring your own pool/beach towels.
Guests are requested not to smoke inside the apartment.

20% deposit payable on booking.
Balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Refundable damage deposit of €150 which is returned within 2 weeks of the end of your holiday subject to a satisfactory property inspection.
The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve is one of the sunniest places in Europe, with over 3,000 sunshine hours per year. The summers can be hot, but there is usually a refreshing breeze by the coast. Spring and Autumn are ideal times for outdoor pursuits, such as golfing, biking, walking. The winters are mild and very often sunny, but do expect a few rainy days any time between October and March.
The Atlantic coastline offers a spectacular variation of scenery from dramatic limestone cliff formations surrounding tiny coves, to long, flat, sandy beaches ideal and safe for family holidays.
Go inland, and the mountains of Monchique provide a totally different viewpoint (and on some days a totally different climate) to the coastal areas. The terrain here makes it ideal for all types of activities, from off–road biking, hiking and quad biking to walking and simply enjoying the spectacular scenery.
The western facing side of the Algarve is certainly worth a visit. The beaches are beautiful and clean and the scenery fantastic – but be prepared for more wind and colder water! A favourite spot for windsurfers.
Go east of Faro and you will find the Ria Formosa, a protected part of the coast cut off from the sea by sand–spits, forming large areas of marshlands and lagoons teeming with wildlife.
Further east beyond Tavira the coast runs off towards Spain with mile after mile of Golden flat sand.
The Armacao de Pera area
Armação de Pêra is a bustling resort and still very Portuguese. It has a fabulous beach that stretches miles. The town itself has a great atmosphere with lots of good restaurants and bars to choose from. Take a wander down to Fisherman’s beach and you will see lots of fishing boats moored up on the sand and fishermen in their huts mending their nets ready for their next catch. There are still some “old hut style” cafes on the beach, which sadly are disappearing from many of Portugal’s beaches to be replaced by more modern wooden buildings. During the summer months there is a variety of water and beach sports on offer. A separate area has been sectioned off for the beach sports. If you like walking then there is mile after mile of sandy beach to walk along. The town is also a nice place to stroll through, with lots of winding streets lined with shops, restaurants, bars and cafes.
The nearest supermarket is Pingo Doce, less than a 5 minute walk and there are many local shops also within easy walking distance. A short car ride away is “Algarve Shopping” which hosts a very large supermarket, variety of shops and designer clothes shops, 8 screened cinema (most films are in English with Portuguese sub-titles) and a food hall.
There are 2 water parks located less than a 10 minute drive from the apartment – Aqualand and Zoomarine (where you can swim with the dolphins). In addition, Slide and Splash and Aquashow are both less than 30 minutes away. If you don’t have your own transport then there are buses that will take you there – these can be pre-booked when you buy your park tickets.
Golf courses are within easy reach - in one direction Salgados, which is a 10 minute drive and in the opposite direction the 2 new courses at Alcantarilha “Faldo Amendoeira” designed by Nick Faldo and “O’Connor Amendoeira” also a 10 minute drive. Many others are less than a 30 minute drive.
Car Hire is not necessary for this apartment as most amenities are close by. If you wish to go further afield there are many trips on offer, as well as public transport. However, if you do like exploring yourself then we would recommend car hire, even for part of your stay as the Algarve has so much to offer and it is a shame not to see some of it.

Faro is the nearest airport - 40km and the journey from the airport to the apartment takes about 40 minutes. Many airlines fly to Faro e.g. Monarch, Easyjet, Ryanair, British Airways, Jet2, Aer Lingus, BMI Baby, Thomson Airways, TAP Portugal, Transavia, Air Berlin, Lufthansa, Europe Airport, Brussels Airlines, Jetairfly. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A damage/security deposit of €150 is also payable at the time of payment of the balance. This is refunded to you within 2 weeks of the end of your holiday subject to a satisfactory property inspection.
