About the home

Brisamar apartments are located just five minutes’ walk from the beach and bustling promenade of Armacao de Pera. Located in the relatively quiet area of Quinta dos Arcos, this comfortable and stylish apartment is ideal for families, couples and groups of friends.

This apartment boats air conditioning and beautiful seaviews for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday here in the Algarve.

The apartment has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.

It benefits from a good size communal pool surrounded with decking, with a shallow end perfect for the children and a large sunbathing area. Leading from the living/dining room is a spacious balcony furnished with a built in BBQ plus table and chairs enabling you to dine al fresco.

The fully equipped kitchen is spacious with everything you need to have that perfect holiday. All linen and towels are included. (Not beach towels).

With one twin bedroom and a double sofa bed, the apartment is ideal for a family holiday, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The large balcony with it's own built in BBQ and table is ideal for al fresco dining. How about trying some of those locally caught sardines? What about a glass (or two) of Vinho? Bom Apetite!
There is also a very large communal roof terrace available for topping up the tan or just getting away from it all.

Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the rental fee is required to secure booking. Balance payment is due 4 weeks before the start of the rental period.

A refundable breakage/security deposit of £150 is to be paid in cash on arrival. This is normally refunded on departure but no later than 10 days after your departure (subject to a satisfactory property inspection).

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve is one of the world's most attractive holiday destinations offering 160 km of gorgeous, golden, sandy beaches, rocky coves, clear waters, rugged cliffs and enchanting grottoes.

The region is blessed with a wonderful climate, ideal for swimming, sunbathing and water sports in summer, and mild enough in spring, autumn and winter for tennis, golf, clifftop or countryside walking, exploring and sightseeing.

Despite the obvious influence of tourism, a short drive inland reveals the true Algarve where life goes on much as it has for many centuries. This brightly coloured and verdant region is filled with orange groves, almond trees in blossom, carob and fig trees, and fragrant pines as well as some cork farms which are still in operation today.

The Mediterranean plants and trees put on a magnificent show throughout the year and there are plenty of nature parks and sanctuaries along the whole of the Algarve that attract many animals and birds.

For the sports enthusiasts, the Algarve has ideal conditions and top class facilities; The Algarve boasts a multitude of golf courses with many enjoying highly prized reputations. Watersports are second to none with the West coast beaches offering the best surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing conditions.

Places of interest include the region's capital Faro and its old town, Loule and its market situated in a recently renovated Moorish building, Silves and its red fortress, Caldas de Monchique for its thermal waters, Portimao’s old town and port, Lagos for its vitality and historical interest and Cabo de S. Vicente with its imposing light-house.

Above all, the Algarve is a children's haven with several exciting water parks, 'Zoomarine' sealife centre, horse riding centres and plenty of fun on the beaches!

Whatever your preference, you will find your personal paradise in the Algarve.

The Armacao de Pera / Quinta dos Arcos area

The Algarve is famous for its wonderful sandy beaches. Armação de Péra has the longest beach in the Algarve with over three kilometres of long sandy beach and small rocky coves. Praia Grande is a very special place, this long sandy beach is a conservation area and is reknowned for its sand dunes that become a carpet of colour in spring with over a 100 species of wild plants. You could take a wonderful walk all the way to Salgados with some lovely beach restaurants at either end to rest and refuel before walking back!

Part of Armacao de Pera beach remains known as 'Fisherman's beach'. Here you can see brightly coloured boats sitting on the sand with local fishermen tending their nets.

There are plenty of excellent restaurants in the area most serving fabulous locally caught fish and of course Chicken Piri Piri! Armacao de Pera can be quite lively in the evenings with bars, shops and restaurants along the promenade. In the summer month evenings the promenade also hosts many craft stalls where you can shop for souvenirs whilst enjoying the warm Algarvian sea breeze.

It is a popular place for holidays all year round, especially with the Portuguese.

Activities in and around the area include walking, golf, tennis, fishing, shopping at Algarve Shopping centre in Guia, horse-riding, snorkeling & diving, sailing, surfing - board, wind and kite, jet-skiing and relaxing on one of the many golden beaches.

Other activities include 'Aqualand' - a giant water park set among lawns and palms with a huge array of pools and slides,which is located just two kilometres away. 'Slide and Splash' in Lagoa is similar, but on a bigger scale with an excellent water area for very young children. 'Zoomarine', part zoo and part theme park, has some amazing shows and is located about five kilometres away in Guia. A bird sanctuary is located two kilometres away next to Salgados golf course. Some of the Algarve's finest golf courses are within 15 minutes' drive.

“The perfect holiday and apartment for any family or couple” Myself and my partner stayed at this beautiful property for a week in September (We wished we had longer by the end of it all) The flat itself has everything that you would want, modern and clean furnishings, comfy beds, a shared swimming pool, beautiful sea view and an inbuilt BBQ. The area in which the property is located is perfect for anyone, it is a brief 5 minute stroll into the town or beach which offers a great mix of different cuisines and a lovely choice of bars. (I would recommend the beach bar which has bean bags and beds to rent on the glorious golden sand) Although Armação de Pêra is not huge, it does offer a wealth of activities to do such as excursions, bike rides, horse riding, dolphin watching, water parks, 4x4 off road adventures and boat trips. The owners Steve and Gill did everything to ensure that our trip was both pleasant and relaxing and offered a level of service and kindness that made the whole holiday that much more pleasant. If you are looking for a holiday which offers beautiful accommodation, scenery and culture then is by far the perfect property to rent!

The property is let on a self-catering basis with everything you need including washing machine and dish washer. The property is thoroughly cleaned and prepared before guest arrival with clean towels and bedding. We do NOT provide a maid service. However, where a guest requires a mid-stay clean and/or fresh towels and linen, this can be provided if requested in advance at the time of booking. The charge will be agreed in advance, confirmed in writing, and must be paid directly to the property managers before the departure date.
