The Algarve region

Armacao de Pera / Quinta dos Arcos area
There is a sand festival held every year in pera it opens in june closes in october artists from all over the world take part in sculpturing the sand into different themes ,Then theres the famous Zoo marine with its interactive dolphins and water slides you get a free bus to and from armacao de pera. There a market held every week for those presents you take home for friends and family or take a trip to lisbon for the ultimite shopping trip.Then theres fatima the religous centre of portugal and visit the beautiful cathedral where thousands of pilgrims visit every year.The beach is one of the most beautiful in the algarve and offers all water sports.
