Areias de Porches is situated on a hill with uninterrupted views of the ocean.
The resort is a small exlusive development of one and two bedroom apartments built to exceptionally high standards.
Spend your days in the peaceful tranquil surroundings of Areias de Porches using the 3 pools or tennis courts or for the more energetic there are many golf courses (discount can be arranged) and why not visit the Splash & slide aqua park, or take a boate trip from the beach to visit the local grottos a short drive ays is the town of Alvor where you can go dolphin watching, the local area has too many attractions to mention so all your days can be filled.
If you do not want to use the excellent facilities in the apartment, then there are some local restaurants within walking distance or take a short taxi drive to Amacao de Pera and Albuferia for many more restaurants and bars. Guia the home of Pira pira chicken is just a short drive away.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
Porches is renound for its potteries, and these are just a short drive away, if you want to get away from the beaches you can visit Cliff Richards vine yard which is a short drive away behind the Algarve shopping centre. For those golfers amoungst you discount can be arranged at 3 local course.
This area of the Algarve is centrally located, and is ideally situated for visiting all the Algarves many attractions. If you want some night life Albufeira is about 20minutes drive away the taxi fare is 20-30 euros. The strip is full of shops restaurants and bars open till late.
Armacao de Pera / Alporchinhos area
The apartment is situated at the front of the complex with views directly out to sea. Two secluded bays within 5 minutes of the apartment, second bay reached trough a tunnel from the first beach. There is a restaurant on the beach which produces excellant lunches and dinners, on the headland there is an other local restaurant with views across the cliffs to Armacao de Pera both these restaurants servce fresh locally caught fish. The local town of Armacao de Pera has many more restaurants and bars, with a fishing port in the old town.
There is a supermarket 5-10 minutes walk from the apartment, this supermarket has all your basic requirements as well as a small fish and fresh meat counter.

How to get there
Easy Jet flights to Faro are quite frequent with a 2.30 hour journey. The air port is only 40 minutes drive away. Collection or car hire from the airport can be arranged

The fully fitted kitchen contains integrated oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster all essential untensils, also included is a picnic set for the beach or the pool.
The lounge/diner contains an extending dining table with seating for six, a 3 seater doulble bed settee , a two seater settee with large coffee table and a further nest of tables.
